Response to request for chat roomm

I asked about having a chat room setup for Galt's Gulch. This is the reply I received:
"Thanks for the note Michael. We've considered it, and chat does have a place (e.g. live video events), but the Gulch is designed to permit people with different schedules to interact when time permits. Chat rooms on the other hand require everyone to be available at the same time. We'll continue to employ chat when appropriate but will not be integrating it as an everyday function. "
