?? What are they predicting? I'm going to verify this by getting the PDF of HR 22 and read it for myself. This is insane.

I found the part where it says passports will be denied (page 904). That doesn't bother me too much (am worried it would be abused by the gubbermeant) but what I find incredulous is they have made themselves exempt from any legal backlash by individuals who prove they were wrongly accused. (page 905)

They want the power, they want the authority, but they don't want to be held accountable. That's what I call BS. It's as if there are teenagers in congress making laws.

Most just do what the Wicked Witch of The West say do. The left is a very obedient bunch of entity cells no matter what the name of the entity

I guess we could hope for that.

In my opinion, elected officials are not doing their job to vote on any bill that they have not read. I have no problem with them asking for others advise, in fact I think that is equally important but to not read every word of a bill is a huge disservice to the American people. That is their only job and we would be better served if they spent more time reading bills and less time in front of the camera.

My guess is zero. The best we can hope for is that someone else who does spend their time to actually read and comprehend these things will truthfully summarize what it says to a lawmaker.

Might as well make the entire nation a debtors prison... Let's see... what is worse, the small amount someone might owe on their taxes or the huge debt the government has saddled each of us with absent our consent? Who is responsible for a greater debt to the nation. The wrong people are being targeted.

The government's been doing this for ages. A couple decades ago my mother left the US, becoming an expat. The State of California started seizing any financial assets, including bank accounts, that had her name on them. My brother fell victim to this, as he had an account we started when he was a kid and my mom's name was still on it. They claimed she owed taxes, but she didn't.

They hate when somebody with money leaves.

1034 pages. I wonder how many law makers read the entire document before voting on it? I hope you can make time to read it and fill us in.

First question? Is Charles Rangel the former Congressional who is millions behind in his taxes going to be the first to have his passport revoked? Or is he on the get out of jail free card list? Who go the jillion pens they use to sign these things. That' s a clue in it self.
