6 Fictional Lands We Should Bomb Once We're Done With Agrabah

Ever wonder why it's so difficult to discuss anything of significance with not only Liberals, but also Conservatives?

The results of a recent poll might give us a clue:
"Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb... Agrabah? While U.S. airstrikes in Syria continue to dominate foreign-policy headlines, the Republican electorate won't so easily forget about another Middle Eastern menace. According to a new poll from Public Policy Polling, 30 percent of Republican voters nationally support bombing Agrabah. Just 13 percent are opposed, while the rest remain unsure.

Agrabah, for the record, is not actually a real country. It's the name of the magical kingdom where the Disney movie Aladdin takes place."

    Willie Wonka. The source of all evil in the universe.
    I hear he is next in line for the speaker of the house.

    Arendelle would be better as an ally, they could solve the global warming problem in about three seconds. :-)

    I'd like to bomb the Candy Mountain progressive polices are supposed to take us to.
    The end result should hopefully be the same as Dorothy tossing water on Broom Hillary.
    What I'd also like to see is some gifted orator convincingly for all to hear nuke the concept of a Marxist Utopia.
    That would effectively render Bernie as obsolete as he should be considered.
    But to make all these Christmastime wishes come to pass, bombs also need to be dropped into the outstretched hands of a kazillion moochers.

    Oz has always worried me. Should the Wizard be replaced by an evil Wizard we could be in trouble. I have always thought the Wicked Witch faked her death and is preparing a future attack. I would preemptively bomb Oz.

    I followed the link to the transcript of the questions, and they were straightforward, not tricking people into saying yes or no. It looks to me like they offered not sure aloud. That's sad.

    I was the same about Disney and Agrabah, but the knee jerk reactions and ignorance of people of this country are abysmal--and they vote, OMG.

    Good thing you shared the source of the name or I would have had to look it up. I'm not a Disney guy.

    Of course if I had thought about your question, I likely wouldn't have needed the results of this poll to know why it is so difficult to have a discussion with them. I'm sure at least 43% of liberals & 43% of conservatives are not paying attention to anything but Entertainment Tonight.

    I get the humor, but Mordor was Tolkein's case for war against Nazi Germany. That being as it may, nonetheless, Mordor's location qualifies it as the USSR. Moreover, Mordor received allies from opportunists in "Lebennin" who came on massive elephants.
    Lest we forget: Men of West! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me.

    So, it's a tough call... One of the few phrases I know in Arabic is "Ana tajur" I am a merchant. Historian Ernst Samhaber in Merchants Make History pointed out that a good merchant does not argue religion with his client. But what do you do if your client wants to kill you back first?

    Myself, I would move away... But in LOTR (as in England 1940), there was no moving away.

    This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
    This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
    This other Eden, demi-paradise;
    This fortress, built by nature for herself,
    Against infection, and the hand of war;
    This happy breed of men, this little world;
    This precious stone set in the silver sea,
    Which serves it in the office of a wall,
    Or as a moat defensive to a house,
    Against the envy of less happier lands;
    This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England,
