TPP up for ratification
We really need to oppose this. If it was only a trade deal, it might be palatable. It's not. It's a move toward one world government, as the TPP as written has authorization to create its own binding laws. The measure will fail without the support of the US. Let's hope that Congress refuses to bring it up for ratification at the very least for another full year and at best, never brings it up at all.
What in hell is in it and what does it do? We get generalities. What's hidden in it that will disadvantage us to other nations as most of Obama's dealing do.

"United States and Japan would need to ratify the deal, which will set common standards on issues ranging from workers' rights to intellectual property protection in 12 Pacific nations."
Underlying that is a sovereignty buster for sure. I take our national sovereignty very seriously. Giving any of it away, even for what is purported to be a positive outcome is a bad idea.
