Atlas Shrugged Commercials On TV!?!

Just wondering if anyone else has come across advertisements and on what mediums.
I have been home most of the day and apparently there was a Star Trek Marathon on Syfy channel. So I flipped to that and let it be my backgroud noise while I was doing things around the house.
It would be neat to know what the advertising department deems as the right combinations of mediums to reach our Audience.

I must qualify this with a couple of facts. I watch nearly no TV, except what I purchase on iTunes. I do not read much except for books I hear about from friends, places like this... and then I go buy them and read them. I do not have a whole lot of places where I am exposed to advertising. Mostly on the web on places like google so I may simply not b seeing it because I am not exposed to it.
