    Thank You!
    And, yes, it is good.
It is at least an interesting contrast to the large movement in support of the nanny state and such candidates as Bernie Sanders.

    Yes, it does look good.
There are many efforts toward a free country, including Costa Rica and Belize, where at least the people already speak English and we would-incomers will find it easier.

    My name is also Michael.
    Michael Morrison.
But there are MILLIONS of Michael Morrisons, including one now deceased porn film star, at least one editor (for author Lisa Scottoline), one prolific minister, one prolific computer writer, and, finally, and least, me.

Excellent.... and it's 700,000 counting value of property until they sell the DC dwelling. I believe his wife has more than he.

I stand corrected with kudos That IS Right there are three of us. People in Mexico find it odd that every school child in Mexico know about the United States of America but in an opposite direct what? five per cent and all Latinos?

To clear it us it is not the United States of Mexico but the United States of Mexicans. They include their citizens.

Not even the whole country down here is FNA but the entire country of the USA is not FNA.

relax it's not personal it's only business

There are stories about him and his absolute failure of a life ... that might or might not be true.
Some of his defenders point out his relative poverty, at least as compared to the other old-party candidates.
He has "only" a few hundred thousand dollars.
I responded, yes, and all "earned" in politics.
His defender said, no, before politics he was a writer and carpenter.
So, who knows? Did he fail at everything as several say? Or did he fail to starve as writer and carpenter? I honestly don't know, nor do I think it's especially important.
What is important ... oh, here let me quote me again: Libertarians want to live free; Sanders supporters want to live for free.

Thank you and here is my suggestion: Join us, at least on our Facebook page, so there will be at least one person you can trust.
As you say, the idea is sound.
Reminds me of a story found in at least two books of the great Elmer Kelton (whom Randians should like for his sense of life and his individualist values): Talking about the area in Texas around San Angelo, where so many of his stories are set, one man says, "All we need are good people and water."
Someone answers, "That's all Hell needs!"

There are, in fact, two other "United States."
One is Mexico and the other is Brazil.
But that's probably not what you mean.
I've been here "a long time" also. Born here.
And I strongly disagree that "Freedom is relative."
Freedom is the state of being free. To repeat myself -- and I love quoting me -- no nation is free if the inhabitants thereof are required to carry cards with their government-issued numbers.
We are not free, sovereign human beings.
Is there a country more nearly free?
Not one I know of, but in other countries there are different restrictions, and sometimes even more threats to actual physical survival.
But is having lung cancer more healthy than having AIDS?
What rational humans should aim at is health, with neither cancer nor AIDS.
And rational humans should aim at freedom, complete and total, where the principles of non-aggression and of self-ownership are supreme.

No, Bernie Sanders' state is Vermont, which is to the left, also geographically, of New Hampshire.
And I think Nevada has more land in fed hands, both acreage and percentage.
But "like" our Facebook page and join the discussion.
    Thank you.

No particular area has been settled on, but my own personal choice is the northwest corner, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City.
It's still new, and definitely open to discussion.
Please join us and speak out.
    Thank you.
Oh, being "abandoned by the federal government," though, would be a plus, in my opinion.

not complaining The idea is sound but as with all movements the weakest link is the people and I'm not that trusting of the people involved as of yet. I don't wish them anything but the best.

The reference to New Hampshire is rather curious. Isn't that the home state of and filled with supporters of Comrade Bernie Sanders of the Communist Party? Like living next door to a mondo rattle snake den...

Arizona has the least amount of private land and the most amount of federal land in existence. Depends on the location and proximity to the land controlled by the drug cartels...

on a comparative basis and in the right places it's right now. Freedom is relative and so is safety. It is the other United States of....there are two or didn't you know? Been here a long time.

It must have been "a long time ago" because North America has not been free in quite a while.
Just contemplate one fact, much worse now since the George W. Bush administration: We once supposedly free United Statesians cannot do much of anything unless we have in our possession a card with a government-issued number. We can't even apply for a job, or open a bank account, or, in most places, register to vote, or apply for a driving license.
We are not free, and never will be again unless we get active and stop just talking.

That looks very cool. I have mused about what the beginnings of a real Gulch would look like. People talk about a secretive place. I imagined something just like this. I suspect many of these will spring up.
