Sen. Lindsey Graham is disgusted with the GOP's embrace of Donald Trump: "My party has gone batshit crazy." Well, I would say turnabout is fair play, the RNC and associated idiots have been Batsh@t crazy for the last 3 elections or so. Maybe the Republicrat voters are just fed up with the imperial families who run both parties and want to dictate their policies and laws to us, and then hand us the bill on top of it. No thanks, to all of them. BS crazy is ok if it means cutting them down even a little.

Wasn't it $600,000? From Mother Jones:

Hillary Clinton's shift from declaimer of Big Finance shenanigans to collaborator with Goldman—the firm has donated between $250,000 and $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation—prompts an obvious question: Can the former secretary of state cultivate populist cred while hobnobbing with Goldman and pocketing money from it and other Wall Street firms? Last year, she gave two paid speeches to Goldman Sachs audiences. (Her customary fee is $200,000 a speech.)

The problem is, the pea brain sheeple cannot grasp using your position for personal gain is a bad thing, they think it is normal business, so that is why they can look past it. As well as all the other criminal crap we have been subjected to.

HillaryBeast will sell us out as quick as BendOver. She has a well documented record of selling the country when she was SOS. Again, some of her acts were probably treason, if not just plain unethical. The Clinton Foundation reaped millions while she was in office, and will reap billions if she is elected. And we will not benefit one drop from it. Clinton may have been the Teflon President, HillaryBeast will be the Armored Monster President.

I understand your angst, and I feel it too. That does not change the current circumstances. There is another dynamic at work here, which is how much crap can be generated by either side by November. By the time they get done digging Trump dirt, and Hillary Felonies, they may both be either disqualified, or in jail, or both. They are already raising the KKK Flag on Trump, which he did blithely fall into, as well as another 2K classified emails. It may actually be a great time for a third party candidate with presence, calm, intelligence and a good communication skillset, to rise. Who that is, I have no idea. Trump is annoying, you almost think he is on the edge of dementia, but, as many have said, a frickin criminal is not an alternative either.

Well, Senator, not Batsh#t Crazy, but quite uncivilized!
That's because all the RINOs are terrified. their certain that Trump will pluck the golden goose, fry her eggs, and send all the K Streeters to GITMO.

You are more than well aware I've said Hillary should be in jail and Bernie's socialist positions are, for the time being, easily defeated in this country. I'm not trying to change your mind because, in spite of an expose of his Pragmatism and disregard of individual rights, you have previously rationalized your support for Trump.

I'm hoping to change the minds of others willing to investigate beyond the superficial rhetoric of a master marketer with a penchant for political power.

Trump promises to be just as fiscally irresponsible and doesn't give a hoot for the Constitution. In fairness, however, I must concede he is not a textbook socialist. Benito Trump is more fascist than socialist. What choices we have!!

Because I'm not sure they are much worse. They might be, of course, but maybe not because we have no idea what Trump's principles are other than to gain power. Bernie Clinton is a straight up socialist. We know what she would try to do and it is hateful to be sure. With Trump I can't even keep track on a daily basis with what he has up his sleeve. Seriously, just yesterday he started talking about "opening up the libel laws" which sounded a lot like he wants to decimate the First Amendment. Maybe not, but who knows. We do know he wants massive tariffs, restrictions on trade and control over where you can move your business and whether you can downsize your workforce. What he will dream up tomorrow I haven't a clue except it will be very expensive and you will be paying for it.

It is incredulous and unsurprising, at the same time, that this could be the choice for the U.S. Presidency.

"In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win."

"When men reduce their virtues to the approximate, then evil acquires the force of an absolute, when loyalty to an unyielding purpose is dropped by the virtuous, it's picked up by scoundrels—and you get the indecent spectacle of a cringing, bargaining, traitorous good and a self-righteously uncompromising evil." Galt's speech, Atlas Shrugged

I fear Benito Trump is much worse than a jerk or clown. If this man gets power he will use it and our Constitution has been so undermined for so many years I am afraid it will present only a minor obstacle. And Congress? Remember the Reichstag fire?

Beyond his creepy factor, you missed his giving whoever he is talking to a tidbit they can hold.

You're dealing with (in the nicest terms) a professional marketer, a salesman. He brags about it all the time and it goes right over the heads of most. He sells what you want to hear, but his end game is to get more power and grow his brand. It's what he always does. One cannot afford to hide from it.

Well, I would love to hear what stuff dear old Hillary is into. We all know what Bill was into. To be honest I really dont care about this stuff. What I want to know is how they will do presidential things like negotiating with other countries, taxing us, executive orders and the like. Hell, I would bet Rubio is into young boys from the looks of him and the fact he was IN the mormon religion and then LEFT it (sounds like they found out what he was up to and kicked him out, or he left under duress). Cruz reminds me of that Louisiana preacher who was found with prostitutes, caught, repented, and then did it again. Then we have Spitzer from New York, and most of the others. You would think they could keep their pants zipped for a lousy 4 years

Watching the news last night, I mentioned to my wife, "So this is how it feels to be inside a zombie movie."

Unfortunately, the choice is going to be Hillary vs Trump the way it looks right now. With Hillary, the loss of liberty will be rapid. She will sign off on anything the congress does that increases governmental power. Plus she has agreed to grant Goldman and Wall St unknown favors much greater than anything Trump could do.

Trump is right out there telling you where he is at. Hillary is hidden behind layers of emails and lies. At least Sanders tells us where HE is at.

I don't understand how Trump supporters can be so blind to a despotic demagogue. The Presidency is a target for all kinds of free speech. I don't want to see him with the political power to crush what offends him. I don't want to see him entrench his admitted cronyism further into government.

So NO, he is not the lesser of two evils. The Democrat/Socialists disgust me; but I fear the quick loss of liberty in the camouflage of an unprincipled Salesman.

I wish you were right, but I dont think so. Hillary is out there promoting free college education, reducing existing student loan debt, increasing taxes by quite a bit actually (not quite as much as Sanders), and is in the pocket of Goldman and wall street. (why else would they pay her over $600 for "speaking fees". These things are bad news, unless you want to promote the total collapse of the country.

Trump isnt spouting that stuff at least. He will negotiate better deals than Obamacare, or the Iran deal (both of which Hillary supports ), and he is against political correctness and basically tells us where he is at (The only other one that does that is Sanders- and at least he tells us straight up what he would do.

The congress isnt to be trusted, and the only way to stop them is for a presidential veto.

Because I argue it doesn't matter, left or right. Plus, as long as congress can block the pres., then we're no worse. Always voting for the best the can beat the other side assures a John Galt will never win. If we start growing the libertarian party, maybe others will follow,or maybe the GOP will wake up and change.
I say we're in the dumper regardless of who wins I. November. And Trump is bs'ing his supporters. He is as conservative as Hillary.
