7 Harsh Realities Of Life Millennials Need To Understand

Although this article really keys on Millenials, I think this broadly applies to anyone with an entitlement attitude. I really love #6. Enjoy.
Here I am about retirement age and those who know my skill set keep challenging me to go outside the boundaries to accomplish more all of the time.
Life, it seems, is ever-increasing.
A Mad Max scenario is on the horizon...
On #2, while you can't be anything you want to be, you're free to be something no one has ever dreamed of. Create things that simply weren't before you. You're bound to fall on your face many times, but keep getting up. Maybe that kid with poor motor skills will do research into the causes of heart disease and be a part of treating it without ever cutting. Ask out the quarterback. Try something that everyone thinks is impossible. Kick our butts, Millennials.
the thing is, I recognize the right of other people to
be equally selfish. My brother tried to tell me that
health care was a right, and I said, "No, it's not!
Nothing is a right except the right to be left alone."
Thank you.

If you deny it, it will destroy you.
That's the way it was when I was young. Now, however, if you deny reality, Poppa, Momma, or various government agencies will kiss your boo-boo and make it all better. Now, go back down to your parents basement lick your wounds and smoke a little pot, hack into some private emails, maybe watch a little porn, and you'll feel sooo much better.
In all fairness, I have met many intelligent young people in my work who are idealistic and respectful of others' rights; who are eager to learn and do productive work and not sell their soul for an unfair advantage. I am optimistic for the future.
Too bad he is spot on!
Thanks for the article too.
