The website BestBookRead.com is asking people to vote for the books that have transformed your life forever.

Perhaps this is an opportunity for the gulch to evangelize a little.

The Road to Serfdom, by Hayek. While Atlas Shrugged gave words to what I was feeling, it didn't change my life. Hayeks book helped me understand better what was going on with the world.

Good for you. I love Heinlein's Moon ... Mistresss, too. If you haven't read John Ross' Unintended Consequences, you might enjoy it. Only my 1 vote for it so far.

I was only able to vote once, but I didn't vote early and often like we had to do when I lived in the Chicago suburbs.

Aside from the obvious (AS), I also included "Secret Weapon" by Kevin D. Freeman. Got Dark Pools? Sovereign Wealth Funds? Naked Short Selling? Don't know what those are? Get the book and get informed. Will a crash really happen? Uh, of course! It's engineered & planned that way! Don't take my word, take Mr. Freeman's.

What's the matter, winterwind? Don't you trust electronic voting?? That's unpatriotic to question your presidential votes being sent to Spain to be tallied by a foreign corporation; and then the results returned to us. There is no possible chance of fraud or error. Wtf is your problem??

If you go to his website, you can download an app to play it with others online. There is a tutorial on the game as well.

Well, it said 118 after I just voted for it, so I think it counted you 2.

Yeah, I've played it a couple times, thought it's kind of confusing. I'd like to play it more often, but don't really have anyone to play it with.
