This is actually really good news that Reid felt the need to make an appearance in front of the cameras. Back into a corner? Maybe...but I think it’s more telling then that. I think it signifies that Reid has a weak spot--his son. The press should do more stories featuring his son’s dealings. This is the key to getting Reid in front of the cameras beyond the floor of the Senate where he is never questioned or challenged for his outrageous comments. This is the key to minimizing his influence.
