How the Liberals are trying to steal the presidential election

While this article states that this effort will fail, I'm not so sure. If you only look at the electoral votes for the past election, if they can get all those states to sign on, it will bode the end of the importance of the "little states."

If we feel a need to end the electoral college maybe we can then end our Republican form of government and go to a pure Democracy? We can send all our representatives home because we will vote for ourselves on all issues. No the legislators don't want that? I didn't think so.

If they can get enough states to add up to 270 electoral votes, then our republican form of government is over. As it is, the states have virtually no independence anymore (the SCOTUS keeps overturning state ballot referendum items and requiring enforcement of the laws of the other states). That will bode the end of any accountability of politicians to "fly over country." Our population density (with a few exceptions) is just too low for them to care. Iowa's first in the nation primary will become an anachronism - the only place between the coasts (except probably for Chicago, St. Louis, Dallas, and Denver) where you will see a politician running for president.
