Just because we could, doesn't mean we should

Ventura takes someone to task for mislabeling Sanders as a Communist rather than a Socialist and ends the comment by saying if we weren't involved in the wars we could pay for everything Sanders is proposing.
I won't even go into the feasibility of being able to have a balanced budget with Sanders's utopic programs, but instead I will just say, even if the country could pay for them and have a balanced budget, should they be paying for those programs? What is the moral justification that Sanders, or Clinton or anyone else uses to take from one man for the sake of another? And what is with the trend of holding certain European countries out as being somehow better than Capitalism (as opposed to the sudo-Captialism we have here in the US)?

When one is young...seeing into the future amounts to tomorrow...guess we've all been there.
But the adults, have no excuse.

If it's free...you can't complain about the content.

How much of what you have gotten for free, (not counting gifts) do you appreciate and feel a sense of satisfaction, pride of ownership or accomplishment?

Does anything about the attainment of free stuff prepare you for greater challenges, survival, or greater responsibility?
