Rush: Trump Will Beat Hillary, Perhaps With A Landslide

I've listened to Rush Limbaugh on my car radio since the 90s.
When it comes to Rush talking politics, I've learned not to ignore even what he calls a gut feeling.

You never know. If she wins, I'll sure be hoping for something like that. Is it possible she picks an even nastier VP running mate? Don't want to jinx us.

Is Trump’s health care policy identical to Hillary’s? Looks like the total opposite to me:
    “Completely repeal Obamacare.”
“Modify existing law that inhibits the sale of health insurance across state lines.”
“Allow individuals to fully deduct health insurance premium payments from their tax returns under the current tax system.”
“Allow individuals to use Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).”
“Require price transparency from all healthcare providers, especially doctors and healthcare organizations like clinics and hospitals. Individuals should be able to shop to find the best prices for procedures, exams or any other medical-related procedure.”
“Remove barriers to entry into free markets for drug providers that offer safe, reliable and cheaper products.”
“The reforms outlined above will lower healthcare costs for all Americans. They are simply a place to start.”

    How about taxes?
“If you are single and earn less than $25,000, or married and jointly earn less than $50,000, you will not owe any income tax.“
“This new tax code eliminates the marriage penalty and the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) while providing the lowest tax rate since before World War II.”
“No business of any size, from a Fortune 500 to a mom and pop shop to a freelancer living job to job, will pay more than 15% of their business income in taxes.”
“No family will have to pay the death tax. You earned and saved that money for your family, not the government. You paid taxes on it when you earned it.”

Does any of this sound like Hillary?

Actually, he does. He needs their money. So far, Trump has put little of his own into this race to begin with and there is speculation that he doesn't have a lot in liquid assets to begin with. If Trump really were going to finance the whole thing himself, he wouldn't have bothered with the Republican Party and just gone independent from the beginning.

Here's my second question, however: How is Trump also not a Democrat in principle? Other than his newfound support for the Second Amendment and his wall, nearly every other policy is identical to that of Hillary. Nominating Trump isn't going to move away from the "Democrat Lite"...

Especially the part that counts. The leadership and their backers. That does not necessarily include the members. After all popular vote isn't counted to find the winner in these elections. It's the electoral college or vote of the delegates or the openly undemocratic pro fascist vote of super delegates.

We'll have to see what the leadership and their backers decide they want and the objective may be something entirely different than what you read in the news.

Why not people do it all the time. A friend of mine described it this way. Any good politician and that includes an attorney in front of a jury and judge must present at the same time a different facet or reflection to each of the others. Designed to get the bulk of their point across without losing favor with any of the group. Do that you win the case or get elected. The rest is BS.

What we have now is rule by the hidden power brokers like the clintons, Wall Street, and the bush family for just a few. How has that worked out ??? Your vote and my vote don't mean a damn thing.

Perhaps you didn't see the cnn town hall with Anderson cooper with the whole trump family. If you had, you would have seen very articulate and intelligent offspring. I knew nothing of his children before that and was totally surprised. The significant thing was the way all of his children talked about how their father raised them. Anderson cooper was his normal arrogant self trying to make his interview subject look bad, and he got shut down by trumps kids all by themselves.

I can tell you are a 100% trump hater, and you probably won't get to see this town hall, but it was a good demonstration of pretty good parenting.

This whole election process has made me realized how flawed the process is in the USA. If John galt himself were running for president, he would receive unbelievable criticism before he ever got a lick of praise. The only ones that are accepted today are true statists and evil witches like the Hillary YOU are going to wind up with in a few minths

"Trump CANT be worse than {Hillary}" ... wow.
That's the best argument you can make FOR Trump to be president?!?!?

You've never looked at what Trump was doing right up to him beginning his nomination, have you?

Trump was Hillary's donor. Trump was propping Hillary up as "one of the best secretaries of state" we've ever had until he decided to start running. Ever pause to think WHY Trump might ever flip-flop so casually on his own statements?

I really wonder how many Trump-dolls do you have in your bed at night..

You are infatuated with his kids?!?!? Who Eric with the grease-ball hair-do that highlights his incompetence in his attempts to look like 'Dad' ? Or Ivanka for her model looks? Wonder why she's always by Daddy's side on the lectern...

If kids make a president... wow.. I'm glad you're limited to one vote.

It was more of a rhetorical remark than a question, but yes, I know he never responds to logical points. 👍

Okay, so it's "talent." But allosaur is onto something. Rush does have wisdom, so maybe from now on it should be, "with talent and wisdom on loan from God."

If wishes were horses then beggars would ride,
If turnips were swords I’d have one by my side.
If ‘ifs’ and ‘ands’ were pots and pans
There would be no need for tinker’s hands!

A landslide is impossible without the 46% who aren't taking part. Simple math All that's needed to win is in the area of 18% of the available voter pool to get a majority of those registering and voting. The rest are voting for the other guy or voting for None Of The Above and that and it's been trhat way increasingly for years is the only group that will landslide or mandate anything. Zero confidence vote from the get go.'

Not voting for either of these two is not the same as not voting they are spitting on the system.,

Always a first for everything. One thing about impeachment the presidential pardon may not be used. Obama can't pardon her if she isn't charged and and she can't pardon herself. Statue of limitations is longer than four years.,
So her legacy will be first woman president running for re-election to beat an indictment. Lynch possibly will face obstruction of justice charges but worst case becomes a Judge and has to recuse herself. The nation will face that reality every day and for every decision. Besides the inability to solve but only worsen a bad economic situation. Mired in mud and ineffective.,

Honest but misquided and wants to follow a path which has consistently failed everywhere and is currently failing in the USAA. Hone in his beliefs maybve but his beliefs are neither practical nor pragmatic but fairy tales requiring magic wands.. the dreams of uneducated college students yet to grow up and face reality. He is Toby Tyler as are his flock.,One pats them on the head and sends them back out to play.
