Rush: Trump Will Beat Hillary, Perhaps With A Landslide
I've listened to Rush Limbaugh on my car radio since the 90s.
When it comes to Rush talking politics, I've learned not to ignore even what he calls a gut feeling.

You are of course entitled to your analysis of the various people. We will be stuck with either Hillary or Trump as president. Its hard to believe you would rather Hillary. How bad do you really think a Trump could be??
Some, almost universally less educated, republicans voted for Trump. The broader population is not going to go for this behavior when they are thinking of the person with their finger on the trigger.
Regarding your other statements, I agree we need more parties and better choices. Not sure about the one person one vote. I am more of a state power guy, and the republicans haven't won a popular vote in a very long time. Socialism would be on us in an instant.
Regarding "professional". It means of relating to or connected with a profession, synonym white collar. My intent was specifically to exclude making off color comments about women's cycles. The adjective is not too hard to understand, but the prior behavior is pretty hard to defend in any executive in the course of work, much less the chief executive. This kind of nonsense puts him in the company of indicted heads of state all over, and makes him completely vulnerable to the Hilde-Harpy.
Trump is also like 70, richer than he ever needs to be, and I almost think he is doing this to help the country. That might be wishful thinking, but I am very impressed with his kids after watching them on the CNN town hall a few weeks ago. I say the apple doesnt fall far from the tree. They are great kids, particularly his daughter Ivanka.
Now it is down an unpredictable, shoot-first guy, and an unconstitutional, lying socialist with a clear history of government mistakes.
I hope Donwaldo calms down, listens to some good advisors and starts wooing the Bernie crowd as an agent of change with comments for "more affordable" college (not free. there is a numerator and denominator here). Make the college themselves into the villians with presidents and professors salaries and lack of interest in undergraduate education. He can turn the entitlement issue on its head with words like "opportunity" replacing "free" and some simple Milton Friedman statistics.
That's no "crack" in the "current statist system"...it is the current political philosophy giving birth to the logical extension of populist ideas. Trump is more dangerous than Sanders by force of his personality. I want no part of his "tide" of cronyism or whimsical wielding of the law.
At least Trump spent his own money and isnt beholden to anyone (one of the reasons the establishment hates him so much).
You can always say that a popular leader is in the right place at the right time- or he wouldnt be popular !! Cruz just didnt have the popularity required at this time, so he dropped out. And blew $100 million +- doing so.
I am voting for Trump to break up the entrenched establishment and tell us when the emperor has no clothes. For 4 years- then lets see how he does. CANT be worse than Hillary or Sanders.
I say we are seeing beginnings of the dissolution of the two party system in the USA. We dont need the parties now that we have social media and the internet, and it should be one person=one vote with no phony
"delegates" to help maintain party power at OUR expense.
This is a crack appearing in the current statist system, and should be exploited. Although we cant expect instant conversion to objectivist principles (witness even Cruz bombing in his campaign to return to constitutional principles), we can help exploit the failures of current socialism and statism. Trump and to a certain extent Sanders are doing that. Sanders wants MORE socialism as the answer, while Trump wants less. The tide is coming in for some real change and we should ride it rather than fight it.
Demoncraps, Zombies, Parasitical Humanoids...all the same thing.
He deserves as much serious attention as Alec Baldwin.
(I admit I'd rather listen to Rush and mute Baldwin instantly.)
So about half register. a large chunk of them do not vote many for much the same reasons or they confine themselces to purely local issues.
but of those that do the last figures I could find showed 23% GOP 28 % Democrat and 46% non -affiliated (independents. Libertarians and a few others take up the rest of it.
Since only the GOP and the Demos are allowed on most ballots a bit more than half of those registered or one quarter of the available voting pool bother to vote. and a smidgen for the Libertarians.
I'll call that one 28% to be kind with the two allowed candidates dividing up 25%
To win it takes a plurality or the majority of those voting but not a majority which wiould mean no one would win already.
So 14% plus one of the available voter pool is all that is necessary to win.
Let's suppose the split is as much as 15 to 13 with the rest going to winnere take all. or or maybe 18 to 13 percent.
That's a landslide? No. A mandate? No. it's a crappy little minority electing a President.
It's a show of no confidence
It's a clear win for None of the Above.
even at 25 to three which isn't going to happen it's at best a joke.
But it's all that is need EXCEPT it's only the popular vote which has no legal standing anyway.
At the most by a long stretch the electoral college could produce a n EC mandate if something like Hillary being handcuffed and indicted occurred or Trump going overboard and pulling a Steve Martin at his acceptance speech wearing nothing but boxers.
Sorry Rush the only landslide is a vote against rigged elections and taxation without representation.
The Walking Dead TV show should not be about coping about zombies but all about Dem voting techniques.
Whoa, wait a minute.
Maybe those two concepts should be spliced together somehow..
