I've listened to Rush Limbaugh on my car radio since the 90s.
When it comes to Rush talking politics, I've learned not to ignore even what he calls a gut feeling.

Interesting theory I have concluded that the entire election process is crooked. From the parties themselves, the primary process, right through the electoral college sham. It needs to be scrapped completely. One person=one vote period. Vote for anyone who is registered to run. Count the votes and determine the winner. Winner has to win by some reasonable percentage.
I would never vote for hildebeast because she is plain evil, Cruz because he is power hungry and sneaky, or sanders because he is a wack job. I hope trump wins this time because he just speaks his mind and isn't beholden to contributors. Also because his kids are amazing and the apple doesn't fall from the tree. I am ready to shrug and be done with all this. The USA is going to crash

Trump doesn't need the support of the party "establishment" that has given us Democrat Lite ever since Bush I took office. Their failure to defund Obamacare even with large congressional majorities shows that the party is better off without them. So is Trump.

    Careful..., term2.

You must look past the numbers to see what's going on.

Recall how Trump won the nomination (presumably). He won it primarily in the states that permitted cross-voting: Open Primaries. In closed contests, Ted Cruz fared much better.

We have heard accounts, numerous accounts, of democrats crossing over to vote for Trump. The news media, and Rush as well, love to attribute this to enthusiasm for Trump. But is that really what's going on?

Will those same democrats show up to support him in the general election? FOX, Brietbart, Rush, et. al., love to think the ol' Reagan Blue-dog Democrat swing is in play this year... leading to an upset of drastic proportions for the Republican party this year. I dare say, this has been a ploy all along. No... Trump is not a Democrat mole. Trump's history and past far outspeak Donald's current futile attempts at conservative rhetoric. Still, I do not believe he is a mole. I think he is, however, a tool for the Democrats.. for the Clintons in particular.. to win the White House for the Democrats this November.

Recall that Donald and Bill had a conversation prior to Trumps entry in to the nomination race. No, Bill did not tell Donald to run, per-se, but Bill and Hillary know what they are doing. They (Bill & Hillary) knew how to a.) push Donald's buttons in to running, and b.) get him the nomination. Bill and Hillary knew from early 2015 that Hillary already had the Democratic Primary nomination locked up. Bernie is/was/has been just for show. Therefore, the Clintons knew they had plenty of political capital to throw Trump's way in Trump's push to get the Republican nomination. That engine went in to full gear in the open primaries. Droves of democrat voter drones flooded over to vote for Trump... and no one else. Only Trump. You never saw/heard stories of former Democrats crossing over to prop up Cruz. No, they supposedly glommed on Trump's "Make America Great Again" speech, or promise to Build A Wall, etc. Didn't really matter---when they came over, it was only to Trump.

Rush touted Trump as a populist. He took endless calls of supposed "conservatives" and "former democrats" alike claiming of boundless admiration for Trump. Trump could do no wrong. Meanwhile, it was Cruz that had far out-done Trump in the ground game. Trump had rallies. But, Cruz had a ground campaign going in every state. Is it any wonder why Cruz totally out-played Trump in the delegate selection process up to the day of Cruz's departure? Whether Trump's team was incompetent or Cruz was 'unfairly' sticking in his supporters, the real truth of the day is, in most of those Open Primary states, Trump won from the graces of the Clintons sending over their minions to vote for him. In the party box one day, voting for Trump, out the next and back to the Democrats.

The Washington Post and others reported that Donald called the Clintons just prior to running. (Source: http://wapo.st/1ObdUL4) Is it any stretch to conclude Donald called in a favor easily converted by the Clintons - to help Donald win the Open Primaries and secure the Republican nomination? And, yes, it was an easy transaction to conclude for the millions Donald's donated to the Clinton Foundation over time.

Sure - you will find a few devout Trump supporters here and there touting their devotion to conservative principles, like term2 and others here. But, they have been duped by the media (Rush included) that Trump's bringing Democrat deserters to the Republican party en masse.

The Rush to throw accolades on the Trumpster are far from reality. The Clintons have set him .. and the Republican party up. All they need to do now is cash in this November. Buh-bye country.

I would ask. What is it you fear trump would do that is so bad? He had already said he isn't a fan of executive orders, he will try to get obamacare repealed and reinstall free market principles. Hillary won't do any of that

Sandoval is the poster boy for everything that is wrong with the Republican Party, and why it is unfit to continue in its present form. If Trump succeeds in tossing out the current crop of party "leaders," more power to him. If he proves unsatisfactory down the line then he can be replaced also. But the GOP in its current incarnation is done, and rightly so.

Actually, I dont have anything on my lawn. I happen to think that its US who can make america great, not trump. All he could do is get the government out of our way.

That's the same logic that got Obamacare passed.

A disastrous Trump presidency will poison the "businessman" concept and push the country over the socialism cliff. Capitalism will be written off (shallowly and incorrectly) as a total failure because of the poster child for cronyism that markets himself as a business hero...so yeah, it will probably be worse.
