I've listened to Rush Limbaugh on my car radio since the 90s.
When it comes to Rush talking politics, I've learned not to ignore even what he calls a gut feeling.

    It would be nice that her money and power would not save her this time. Anyone else would be in jail by now

    Right! I would say more, but I have just consumed two of my husband's yummy mint juleps, and I don't trust what I would write. BTW, I had the derby winner.

    I would think a one term limit and many parties would go a long way. The current system is limited and designed to produce a contrived majority when there isn't a real majoriti so people fall in line with the winner. Our votes dont really count

    Any dog I went by their HQ in Norfolk Area one time on the ICW - no sign of life. Then went by on the street side. - no sign of life. Walked up to see what they had. For a name of PET A they are not at all the friendly folks one would have hoped for but the send $$$ sign smell was in the air.

    Maybe they would have been more polite and welcoming if i had arf-ed on the floor and shown a SAG card.

    How about, instead of reworking a system that was designed for a reason (to prevent mob rule), we hold them accountable to the same laws and punishments as any other citizen. Doe the Magna Carta no longer apply to the US fedgov?

    Also, term limits, financial scrutiny throughout their terms, and the addition of several more political parties.

    Your theory that the whole election is a setup by the Clintons can easily be refuted. How can they “send over their minions” (tens of thousands of them) to vote for Trump in the primaries without it becoming widely known? And how many Democrats are willing to go to the trouble of re-registering as Republicans just so they can cast a primary vote for Trump? In Pennsylvania alone more than 46,000 Democrats switched parties primarily due to Trump.     In addition, every crossover primary vote for Trump is one less potential primary vote for Hillary. Did she deliberately lose Wisconsin to Sanders so that Trump could achieve a blowout victory there?

    How about a strong constitution administered by minions elected by popular vote who are not allowed to violate the constitution. The government workers would be there based on their efficiency and ability to administer.

    While I don't have an answer, and its rather cliché, "there has to be a better way". Democracy isn't the answer, it only hastens the trip down history's cesspit.
