That's what I hear... I don't believe it though. The muppets are being used like puppets to advance an agenda.

What a little wienie...in more ways than one. He has no respect for himself so he takes it out on others. It's a real comment on our current culture that he keeps being rewarded for lack of ability and bad behavior while surrounded by 2nd handers.

    Probably! LOL

Didn't Bert and Ernie sleep in a PBS hope chest?

Praying to be able to come out of the 'chest'?

I remember that TCM showed it one Christmas.

I usually sleepwalk through the movie since I have seen it a zillion times, but when these scenes came up I did a real double take. I love Director Cuts of movies I have memorized, to see what the director didn't want to end up on the cutting room floor. Most times I don't miss the cut scenes....

    Slums, and dilapidated track housing.

I remember Ernie (the cab driver) living in one of the houses, and miserable.

My copies (one is VHS, and the other Laser Disc) don't have this.

    Don't need to!

It's a Wonderful Life, and this is spoken by a guy on his porch watching Jimmy and Donna Reed 'mooning' over each other.

I think that he actually interrupts them to tell Jimmy to "go ahead and kiss her!"?

Did you know that there is an extended version of this movie showing Pottersville in more detail?

...In a mop bucket. Which may have been used later to cleaned the floor. And the subtitles were completely necessary.... what happened to this kid's speaking ability?? He's deteriorating faster than this country is.
