That was definitely fake! I can't see him apologizing for anything! But I got a good chuckle! Maybe we can start calling him Chuckles the clown! Because that's almost what he is! Thanks! :)
I mean, when we left Viet Nam, we promised the ARVN we'd continue funding their supply, but our communist-controlled Congress stopped. Then, we promised that if the NVA invaded, we'd come back to fight them off. The NVA invaded with 4 armored corps...and our commuist-controlled Congress wouldn't let Ford go back.
It's one thing for history to repeat, but it's disgusting when it repeats itself so frequently.
and, now, we have Ukraine having given up their heavy weapons and having signed a treaty with the U.S. which we are not honoring -- to help them with their national defense. no, we can't afford to help them ... but it is sad to see an autocrat like putin subdue such a wonderful country. -- j

Yes, Eisenhower wanted peace while Patton wanted to march right into Moscow. :) I guess it’s a question for the arm-chair generals if we should have dealt with Russia then, or we were wiser to chose a path of diplomacy.
Not really. The US already looked at the USSR as combative. We had Eisenhower that did not want any problems. It is interesting that nowadays we are ready to go to war to save Muslims, but not Christians. Either way, they asked for help but did not. Then when the Cuban missile crises hit, Kennedy, after blowing the Bay of Pigs, stood up to Khrushchev when he put missiles in Cuba. Other than Reagan, we have not had a president that would stand up since then.
Gee, Putin like Hitler? Really, where was the outrage when the Hungarians fought the Russians back in the 50's and the US did nothing to help them then. All they needed was arms, they took the Russians down pretty good with Molotov cocktails but could not sustain the battle with them. There was no one comparing Khrushchev to Hitler back then.
Oh, those royals. I would have used "Hitlerish" rather than "Hitlery." Hitlery sounds too much like Hillary. Wait a minute, maybe he has something there.

I’m well, thank-you. I’m not of the mind for politics of late, so I just read a little then get on with my day. I welcomed a new grandson into the world earlier this month, so I’m in the mood for staying blissfully happy at the moment. :)

We should never have supplied Russia during the war.
It's not a question. History has provided the answer.
