That is part of the problem, when you see connections, their defense is to ridicule the person until the withdraw. Very few people who are independent will put up with the BS and have just sidelined themselves. Thus we always have a battle of BS between the remainder. This situations is so abusive that if no one rises to the top and pushes some reaction, then they will see their way clear to complete fabrication for the masses.

Although, if you look hard at what was published from 1800 on, there was a lot of skew in the reporting even then. The rise of yellow journalism and the manipulation of public information has been going on for quite a while, we choose to ignore it, and established specific reporting organizations as "good guys" when in fact, there were none.

And any time someone even accuses them because the facts can only be explained by that, they get labeled "conspiracy theorists" and disregarded. Therefor, there are no checks and balances any more, just unfettered ability to do whatever is on their agenda. We have been totally emasculated and neutered as a people.

True. Instead the scum on the stage control the so-called journalists. If anyone speaks out against the looter on stage, that person loses his access to the celebrity-pol looters and with it his job. After spending $50,000 or more on a journalism degree and being subjected to irrational rubbish for at least 4 years they still understand one thing: the scum on stage controls the reporter's supply of food, housing, drugs, and sex via control of access to looters. That overrides journalistic ethics every time.
