It's not about Clinton any more. It's about (1) a faceless crew of FBI investigators, and (2) Comey's timing.
[And who she picks for vice pres] if she picks joey ( a know psychotic) or Hya Watha...(a known idiot) we're toast.

Well, then Hillary can just Pardon herself. Before January 21st. Obama will grant her a pardon.

Only if someone other than Hillary is elected will she possibly face accountability.

From what I understand, she can not do that but her surviving VP could...just like in Nixon's case.

Anyone but Hillary is elected. Business as usual If indicted she's arrested shows up with lawyers in tow. If not the nothing.

    2. Hillary is elected.

At 12:01 PM Obama has no power unless he signed a pardon and failed to mention it.

If indicted it's up to the House to use or not use impeachment and the Senate to convict or not convict. She can't pardon herself and Presidential Pardons may not be used in impeachment proceedings in any case.

However she's still the President UNLESS Sufficient people sign that bitty bit piece of paper saying they have found her unable to perform her duties then the act of succession takes over. That applies to her successor if he or she is also 'unable to perform' That's mostly subjective but in some cases (Medical opinion ) objective.

If she resigns (no longer President) her successor may issue a pardon ...or not.

The segment bore that is Election Day to Inauguration Day

And before that where we are right now.

The only thing I don't like about it is the Act of Succession. No one who did not receive votes should be on the list. I'm thinking of cabinet members. Their job is to keep things running and they received zero votes. I would put Senators first , Governors second, and Representatives third based on the likely number of votes it takes to get elected. I would require the list to exclude anyone not of the same party or otherwise not meeting Constitutional requirements. Otherwise it's a palace coup but that part wants some more thinking.
