it figures that there were hidden agendas involved;;;
too much was being revealed about the nastiness
of the progressives on his show. . he used a blackboard

    Funny thing...sorasses efforts had little effect, Beck's new network wasn't ready and he didn't leave till 6 mos later. Progressives thought they won by believing their own lies.

    I run a simultaneous translator when religion-related
    stuff shows up in my life, and it must have been on
    when Beck was there. . my allergy to bs requires a
    spin-removal translator a lot of the time. -- j

    It was there when he first moved to Fox, but became much more pronounced and time-consuming after the first year or so. There was a lot of commentary noticing it and it was openly at least part of the reason for his leaving.

    I didn't recognize his increased emphasis on religion;;;
    I knew that it was always there and must have just
    discounted it. -- j

    It was known before Beck left that Sorros and the left were going after advertisers. It's still not clear if he was forced out by Fox, wouldn't agree to Fox editorial changes, or wanted to leave to run his own operation that was already being planned. Beck's effectiveness and following were dropping with his emphasizing religion instead of the journalism on the left that had led to his rise in popularity.
