Preaching sacrifice and duty is the opposite of a rational morality. His pushing religion in government and a false religious revisionist history is destructive.

We'll never agree with anyone on everything. Beck is, however, one of the most consistent libertarians I've ever heard. Yes, he's religious. So what? That kept him sober. One comment noted he does more in-depth research than anyone; another suggested he finds great talent. I agree with both. I don't always agree with him, but find him easy to listen to and a terrific source of education at times. And I especially think he could be right on the menace of Islamism, which he seems to have foreseen long before nearly anyone else, and shares my concern over Trump.

He's also one of the most moral teachers I've ever heard and in ways entirely consistent with libertarian philosophy (take responsibility).

They go in with repetitive, outrageous "talking points" planned in advance and slung out of nowhere, intended to distract and minimize whatever else is said. When challenged they become more militant and aggressive. It is predictable, uninformative, and not worth listening to, which serves their purpose when people stop listening.

I have noticed the left folks give their pitch, and whenever they are challenged, they yell, interrupt and generally show themselves to be uncultured bullies.

I will be ashes in search of an urn long before that happens.

Yes, and why have guests if they talk over them if not getting the required answers? There are a few who will let the guest finish an answer but are not regulars.

If Soros’ Democracy Fund had 900,000 paid members, that is about 1 in 355 US citizens as members. Seems a bit high.

I used to watch Beck and then he became a real religious nut.
Would anyone know why Freedom Watch got cancelled? Would it have been that it was way too libertarian for Fox, though it keeps a number of commentators who have some libertarian leanings, but seem to be a little bit statist leaning, maybe even for the judge.

I understand that he is a sick man(physically). That may be coloring his judgment.

I think Beck has gone a bit strange of late, not sure what that is about. However, I knew Soros would come for hi, as he always does. Hopefully the man will rot in some Hell eventually, he can't live forever at 86, even with his personal team of doctors. You notice that Hannity will not mention his visit to the woods with politicians for their orgy and symbolic sacrifice - he is afraid of that one. O'Reilly would not mention Saul Alinsky until right AFTER Obama won election, even though several of us had written to him to do so. It was some time before the rest of Fox would bring up the connection. Remember, Murdoch is a lifelong CFR member,even if he does gear his networks and publications at conservatives in the US, that is not true all over. He follows the money, and not necessarily a ideal.

I still follow Beck on TheBlaze, and I'm disgusted by the people who say he's crazy.

You can notice that Soros didn't try the same ploy with O'Reilly and others. Beck used Soros and editing conflicts as motives for leaving Fox TV but he kept his radio program going. I was a Beck follower from the first day he entered the Tamps Bay market after Liquor almost put an end to him. I witnessed his gradual transformation into advocacy, and finally into letting religion color all of his motives. I no longer listen to him.

Oh yeah, I forgot that part.

Later to late to edit while playing quick fire pool on the internet did I get a creepy feeling about having maybe left out what was in the left hand corner of the TV screen Beck pointed down at. Creepy feeling was right.

He was on live. I've long noticed O'Reilly ususally isn't on live though sometimes he is like when Trump gives a speech or Ferguson burns.

While I liked the chalkboard, I was getting an Alex Jones-lite vibe from Glenn. Like he was throwing everything against the wall and seeing what stuck. I wish he was more journalist than commentator, just so he could have put some foundation under his stories. It could have gone a long way towards allaying my skepticism about the vast conspiracy he was expounding on. Though I did become extremely uncomfortable once he tried to rewrite American history to add religious connotations behind all the Founder's motivations for creating this country instead of their religions being incidental to it.

I used to enjoy Glenn Beck because he fortified his positions with historical information and real facts, rather than just rail about his opinions like so many other commentators. However, even before he left Fox I could see the signs of stress that were leading him to positions that were hard to believe. I decided he'd reached the strait jacket stage when he declared Ted Cruz had been chosen by God to lead the nation.

Of all the news commentators out there, Beck does his homework the best. His explanations of the extensive history behind any topic he covers are unparalleled. I don't agree with everything he says, but I appreciate his honesty and passion and especially his patriotism. And yes, he does use a blackboard better than anyone else I know.

My favorite show (no longer airing) was Real News with The Blaze. It was five or six commentators who wouldn't just bring up news stories, but they would go into the significance of each one. The show stopped because ironically most of the individual commentators were so good they got their own gigs. Buck Sexton has his own show on Beck's network. I love his impersonations as well as his extensive knowledge (from his CIA analyst days) about the Middle East. S.E. Cupp now comments on CNN, as does Will Cain.

No wonder Fox has Shep Smith, Carl Cameron, Bill (God makes the tides work) O’Rielly and Chris Wallace. Though, I must say, I don’t miss Beck.

I saw the last of Beck's afternoon TV show. The only thing I recall about it is Beck asking viewers to look at the lower left corner of their TV screen. Beck then said the folks "at Fox News trust me."
That was to reveal that no ill will existed between Beck and Fox. Capitalist business has to be conducted as business even if a socialist billionaire bully scares off advertisers.
About a year earlier Beck spent about a week revealing all the evil crap George Soros was up to. I'll never for get how it ended and I believe it was on a Friday..
Beck headed for a door about 20 feet away dropping on the floor stapled together paperwork about different operations that Soros funds. Talk about one heck of a thick paper trail!
Later the payback inflicted by George Soros was a you know what.
