Thank You to the Gulch

I'm quite frankly astounded and happy with all the support that has come to me from members in the Gulch.

jbrenner is helping me explore FIT as an option for college (I am a high school junior currently).
An anonymous benefactor has paid a year-long subscription for me to be a producer.
Many, MANY more examples come to mind, yet I do not want to embarrass anyone by calling them out.

I never expected this bond of a community from people across the continent, in many different ages, in all different occupations and stages of life. But I should have; we all have an underlying ideology, even if we have differences. I have received overwhelming support from everyone here; even if I am too busy to respond to some interesting posts, it makes me smile to see the words "Daily Digest" in my inbox and know that people like me do exist and thrive.

So, thank you, to everyone, merely for existing as you are. I appreciate it.

    As an active senior citizen, it make the world seem brighter that there are students like you, who get what reason and capitalism are about.When our daughter was ready for college, we looked long and hard for a university which would honor those ideals and not try to brainwash her into the liberal ideas. She came through it with her belief in Rand secure, and on occasion hands out pens to clients with "Who is John Galt" inscribed. Hold srtong to your beliefs, forget all the peer pressure schools tend to push. We are cheering you on.

    It makes me smile to know there is a new generation that "gets it". It's harder and harder to find.

    Sarah, what this all means is that many of us in the Gulch value you highly and hold you in high regard. Your presence in the Gulch benefits me in many ways. It makes me very happy to read the comments of such a young and intelligent individual. You give me hope for the future. Thank you for enriching my life!
