Who are we trying not to offend?

De Blasio says "there is no terrorist connection," despite bombs going off on the same day in NJ and NY, and a third bomb discovered on the streets of NYC. Is this supposed to be reassuring or is the mayor trying not to offend...uh...terrorists?

He also wants to downplay anything that can stop people from shopping as did Bush after 9/11. They are politicians; they do not have the individual's best interests as their priority.| Permalink
