Herridge: New Allegations of Evidence Tampering in Clinton Email Investigation

One has to wonder at what people use for a moral guide anymore. The collective angst over Trump being a New York slob vs 8 years of absolute, unrestrained, lies, obfuscation, hidden agendas and criminal acts, yet no one seems to care.

Well, that is not ALWAYS true. I sue my neighbor for a nuisance (300 alpacas on 3 acres and never picking up any manure for 3 years), he went bankrupt, and consistently lied out his ass, to the point the trustee wanted him charged with perjury, and when I asked the Eugene US Attorney, he said "It's only small perjury, not worth our effort", which summed up the entire failure of the legal system. It has now degraded into an anarchistic system of favors, laziness, preferences and corruption. Not to mention the usual low competence level.

If you had done it you would have been arrested. The corruption of the legal system on behalf of the political elites is part of what this controversy is about.

So, they all should have been immediately arrested for conspiracy and tampering with evidence. If the legal system worked...

They destroyed the emails after the subpoena. Lawyers and their staff, all uncleared for security, went through all the emails, including classified information, and arrogantly decided for themselves what to destroy as personal email. The whole operation was illegal.

If they did run the utility after they were sent warrants, or were told to not touch anything, then they are all guilty of conspiracy and probably destruction or altering evidence, which should have them all in jail now. I am willing to bet they were told a long time ago, "You know, IF we have to COME to talk to you, we WILL need to TAKE ALL YOUR COMPUTERS as EVIDENCE. So, if you do NOT WANT US TO TAKE ALL YOUR COMPUTERS AS EVIDENCE, then we will need to talk to you" or some such crap. Just remember they already had one guy who was going to see prosecutors "have an accident" and "got robbed but nothing was taken", and no one has heard another word from anyone on an investigation. Wikileaks may be the only way to get information out and still stay alive. So now they blame it on the Russians and all the good Dumbocraps say "yea" they did it!

Running a utility is a lot easier than learning how to use a screw driver and find the drive inside for those without experience with the real world. Besides they were ordered to turn over the hardware and somehow thought they weren't being so obvious about what they were doing. Who knows what tortured thoughts run through their tortured heads.

I wonder what the source of the leak and/or hack was that supplied so much to Wikileaks.

And, Obama ignoring Putin's move of nukes. The last president who had that issue treated it like it should be, as a threat. The Obamanation just pretended it doesn't exist.

Indeed. Usually. Unless they are Dumbocraps, chosen to be the next Dumbocrap in chief. She needs to go to jail, but then you would have to send Janet, the FBI dude, Obama and all the rest, add Holder and Felony Pelosi, pretty soon you have more in jail than out. Then they just vote themselves out of jail. This must all be revenge for Ford pardoning Nixon.....

I still cannot fathom their stupidity. Just remove the HDD, smash it, toss it in the trash and claim the PC had a meltown because of the 32oz mug of coffee you dropped on it, then you tossed it. Do that to every PC, and then claim a lot of clumsiness that day. All their supporters would say "yea, see?" and be happy. It is almost as if they are getting off on rubbing the fact they are criminals in our faces, then when the DOJ and govt does nothing, laugh and point it out. It makes no sense. You could also have gotten the CIA version of drive wiper that just writes 1's and 0's on the drive over and over, after enough runs, I doubt someone could reconstruct it. Way too clumsy an operation for stealth, they WANTED everyone to know they are guilty as sin, and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

I do believe you are correct, sir. They seem to have the self destructive behavior thing going for them. They just send us the bills...

I don't object to someone using professional software to erase deleted areas on a computer used by the Secretary of State. That actually seems prudent. Certainly more prudent than running your own server.

Of course, once there's been a subpoena issued, doing so is obstruction of justice. Usually people go to jail for that.

Trump having access to the red button is less dangerous than any of freezing up and refusing to use it if it were really needed to counter an attack. Most dangerous is Clinton, Kerry and Obama giving red buttons to the Iranians, with illegal funding, secret side deals, and assistance in developing missile technology.

The hard disks were scrubbed because deleting a file does not remove it from the disk. It only removes it from the table of available files that you see when you list them. A deleted file is eventually, but not necessarily, overwritten to reuse the space. Deleted files not overwritten can be retrieved.

Scrubbing the drive systematically overwrites all the deleted files with random data using standard utilities, but overwriting can still leave magnetic residuals that can be retrieved by forensic experts like the FBI. Clinton used a sophisticated program (Bleach Bit) that utterly destroys the data. All this means that the Clinton operation went far out of its way to use sophisticated methods to destroy all the data on the drives after being issued a subpoena to retain it.

Anyone else would have been jailed for that alone, even without the rest of the violations of the Espionage, Freedom of Information and Federal Records Acts.

Do they really want to destroy everything, including themselves or is it that they are really unaware of their own behavior and it's consequences.

I vote for the latter...the former is altruistic, (sacrifice of self and your self). In my observation, in all rationality, they are anything But altruistic.

That sums it up nicely. Sad thing is certain people seem to thrive on pushing us faster in that direction, and no one seems to be able to notice (Like the whole gang in DC today)....

+10 for the goats, LOL! I have 2 miniature goats, they are adorable and as friendly as any dog,but they are incredibly stupid about some things. Although mine hate the rain, they refuse to come out in it. If only The beast was a goat...I would mail her an old fashioned coat hanger....

So would I, but I fear we will all find out, hopefully the Republicrats (or heaven forbid some "independents" ) will be able to stop her rampage through our wallets, otherwise creative accounting will become the standard for tax time...

Sigh. I just heard that rationalization used for an uncountable number of times in the past 30+ years: "At least she knows how Washington DC works." I've even seen it in NYT editorials. When I said "That's exactly the problem.", I finally understood a phrase used often by a friend: "It was like goats staring at lightning."

Perhaps Bill can help her define "ask" as apparently she helped him define "is".

+10 if I could. It is a frigging cesspool of waste and looters that just try to find more ways to scam us. The Obamacare debacle was the last straw when that was forced down our throats with lies and fake data, and an actual plan they concocted. Felony Pelosi should have been arrested for conspiracy, and that lame nimrod is still there. Is it any wonder Trump surfaced? He's a dork, and a buffoon, but he is a better chance at breaking the dependency cycle that is now the norm, and maybe some of the corruption. The fact he said he would do a special prosecutor for the Beast was hopeful, although they have always been a waste in the past, just like the DOJ is.
