Neither. Instead, Ivy Starnes. As described by Jeff Allen,
"She was our Director of Distribution. She was . . . in charge of our needs. . . . [P]etitions of need . . . . had to be recited to her . . . . Her gauge was bootlicking. . . . [H]er eyes glinted when she watched some man who'd talked back to her once . . . getting nothing above basic pittance. . . . 'From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.' . . . . Our agony took four years . . . and it ended the only way it could end: in bankruptcy. . . . She . . . said that the plan had failed because . . . the country had not accepted it . . . and that the plan was a noble ideal, but human nature was not good enough for it."
Here is a link to a website on the minister and Hillary. Originally, it was a chapter in a book I have from when Clinton was in office, I will try to find that also. http://archive.boston.com/news/nation...
Although this article from 2012 claims she went through an "Ayn Rand phase". Personally, I do not think she could or would read the book, as so much of it would tend to make her feel like someone has been spying on her all these years and knows what she is up to, and her grand secret plan to dominate the world was compromised.
They figure they deserve it. Interesting. WAtch Michelle Obama, the quintessential ghetto person, dance around the state dinners dressed to the hilt at OUR expense...

Socialist ideologues like Clinton and Obama do believe in collectivism. She didn't try to put over socialized medicine in the 1990s as an 'opportunist'. She wants the political opportunity to impose it.
Their belief in collectivism doesn't mean that they want to live in poverty themselves. They live like royalty because power seekers always do. That doesn't negate their ideology.
That was about the time the goofy Methoodist minister did a number on her. It is also about teh time she was hospitalized for a psychiatric disorder of out of control mania. Which obviously still plagues her, as when she F-bombed the staff after one debate, one aide called her "psychotic" and one network employee actually said she was "manic". She is not a well person and certainly not up to fitting the AS mold of what a person should be. In her works, SHE is "unfit" to be president.
I was trying to convey that they use the unworkable promises of Socialism in order keep the morons happy until everything falls apart, but from then on the pretense is over.

Hillary was a fan of The Fountainhead in high school where she was a 'Goldwater Girl'. She didn't understand it then and still doesn't, but knows she is the opposite. She flipped to the New Left in college in the 1960s as a follower of Saul Alinsky.
You're right but it goes deeper than that. She is going to try to control the wind itself. For example, if you try to control the law of supply and demand by altering it, you will fail because the law is immutable. That is one of the major fallacies of collectivism. Mohammed learned that when the mountain refused to come to him so he had to go to it. By the time most socialists learn that, the economy is wrecked and they simply must quit the sham and go straight to dictatorship.

Hillary has been a far left progressive and follower of the New Left since she was in college where she befriended Saul Alinsky and wrote a gushing thesis about him. That has been her 'weather vane' ever since. Every public change in position has been to facilitate her original leftist thug goal.

That's depressing if true. I guessed Clinton hadn't read Rand. Do you have a link?
