Ask, were these great pyramids erected by voluntary trade and the respect for individual rights? Would they have been built without the men who desire to rule men?

(Somebody helped to create those unbelievable pyramids.
They didn’t get built on their own.
It was because people did things together.
If you’ve got a business in Egypt. you didn’t build those.)

All true. Yet, just like those parts in Obama's speech. mostly vague and pointless.

Without people like Obama, it is doubtful that the great pyramids of Egypt would have ever been built.

If he has read any of her writings it is that he did not understand that individualism was a point to strive for, not to strive to destroy it. Surely, if he is wanting to destroy individualism and capitalism, he need only follow the very enemies of individualism in Rand's writings. When reading Rand, what you get from her writing would be to which side you are on.

I believe he read it, just look at so many of his policies, the looters would be proud to call him one of their own.

I like the reply by the Institute. It's nice to see them reacting with some force.
