This is what is needed to stop. Hopefully the EPA will be disbanded as a bad job and something that works WITH people, instead of dictating to them, will be put in place.

Absolutely ridiculous... my grandparents and my aunt's family in Fairbanks have to burn wood. It really shows where the EPA's priorities are. And all of government, really. It's a very anti-person viewpoint.

On the contrary, I think they understand and are afraid of the law of diminishing returns. They know that once that level has been reached, then they are out of a job.

Amen. Let's let them lead from the front - not the back.

(or the backside as you so aptly note) =D

Me dino says feed all yapping PC lapdog EPA control freaks to the wolf-dog mentioned in the article.
President Dino Allosaurus would work with Congress obliterate the EPA and to return sovereignty to each state to identity and handle its own pollution problems and X-number of unrelated problems as well, that starting with education.
Hope Trump eventually does the same. .

It appears no one has taught these fanatics the law of diminishing returns, which is that as the demand increases to reduce risk to zero, the cost to attempt to do so approaches the infinite. That cost may be fiscal, or in increasing the damage resulting from the attempt to achieve the unachievable. Putting Scott Pruitt in charge of these clowns should restore a measure of sanity. Much has been made of his resistance to EPA stupidity, but he's actually been aggressive in protecting air and water quality in Oklahoma, negotiating agreement with Arkansas to reduce river pollution, and working out a deal with the city of Oklahoma City and Native American tribes over water rights and use. He wants to restore the right and responsibility of managing resources to the states, where it belongs.

the people who work at the epa are to put it mildly insane. I can just see an epa agent knocking on the door of some Alaskan to fine him. I expect the epa agent will never be seen again, dies of freezing to death. what trump should do as his first action to save the usa is disband the epa.

The worst part of the problem, is thinking the worldwide climate depends on a few people building wood fires in Arctic lands. Are they going to tell all those Inuit and Aleut and other indigenous peoples to stop building fires? I doubt it.

The only problem with the freezing part is it tends to preserve. For the Kakistocrats, What about sending them penniless to live in Haiti or Venezuala they would rot sooner.

Yep, and I vote for a special camp where Obama, Hillary Beast and all their cronies can gather and mourn their losses, and consider their comeback plan. They would undoubtedly freeze fast and free us of their burden.

Exactly. This is a good illustration of that principle. Government has no authority to tell people how to survive, especially in such an extreme environment. They should be leading research and development of ways to reduce the emissions (maybe) but then private sector can do it better and cheaper, IF there is a market for it.

    Use matches.

Or carry your own solar receptors. You might not find a solar receptor forest along the way.

Let's relocate the EPA immediately to the sacred north shore of Alaska and refuse them wool clothes as sheep fart and create global warming. They can heat themselves with solar whilst they wait for the balmy weather to come.

Government creates problems so they can irrationally claim to solve them.
In this case, the EPA's so-called problem is that small particles resulting from wood burning can be one of the causes of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD.)
About 1.7% of the population of the US suffer from severe cases of COPD. 90% of cases of COPD are caused by cigarette smoking, NOT from burning wood to keep warm. Air pollution is a "less important, minor contributory risk factor" along with low body weight, childhood respiratory disorders, exposure to passive cigarette smoke, occupational dust (mineral dust, cotton dust, for example), and Inhaled chemicals. Shortness of breath and cough are the main symptoms of COPD.
In the infinite wisdom of the statist looters, the EPA has been allowed the power to overrule the rights of individuals for the greater good of reducing a minor contributing factor of COPD.
To reduce a minor contributing factor toward shortness of breath and cough for 0.2% of the population the EPA has ordered that the people of Alaska should voluntarily freeze to death or face federal fines for choosing to stay alive.

Before the EPA is disbanded, I propose that instead all the employees are offered a choice of a transfer to live in Umiat, Alaska. One small step toward draining the swamp.
