What is the bracket 1 "[1]" when I have no notifications

    You won't be able to give thumbs up/down until you reach a points level of 100. This was instituted to thwart trolls who were coming on the board with new handles and down voting ideas that they didn't like.

    You can put up with anything if you endure it long enough. Even hanging... if you hang long enough.

    It is the number of points you have earned. You earned one [1] point after submitting your first post. You will earn additionl points with each post or comment you make as well as when someone clicks "thumbs up" on them. You will lose one when someone clicks thumbs down.
    If you get enough thumbs down your posts will be hidden.
