Here is an inspiring~"I learned to follow my own dreams"~child's tale from me dino's neck of the woods.
Here's further information about the article~
Hoover is the ritziest satellite city of Birmingham where I generally go to buy the good stuff albeit PC related products, Big & Tall clothes, guns, the best indoor shooting range, the best mall, the best book store, the best Chinese deli, etc
I get Yerllowhammer with four or five articles in my email every day.
The yellowhammer woodpecker is Alabama's state bird.
Yellowhammer is even mentioned in the Crimson Tide's infamous nyah we beat you taunt chant.
Even during the short time it was banned, the fans sang it anyway. I was in the stands the first time that happened.
Coaches of the opposing team (can't recall which 20 or so years ago) turned around and gawked up at us as if saying, "How dare you?"

Spot on! I heard the other day that milk is now racist. These people are unbelievably insane. But why do we put up with it? What are we so afraid of...this is how tyranny gets a stranglehold on a people because they sit back and do nothing.

I know people my age and younger who are taking dirt naps.
I have imagined myself marching in a skirmish line with a musket dressed up like a soldier on parade way back when.
Enemy muskets are shooting as we advance.
Thump! Another one bites the dirt. Heart attack. Guy couldn't quit smoking. Dennis Brown
You never know who is next.
Thump! Another one bites the dirt. Drunk driver head-on kills a nice guy. Corrections Officer King just wanted to drive to work.
Will the next one be me?
Thump! Another one bites the dirt. Officer Donaldson was the only one killed at that prison. He relieved me and then died.
Zing! Thought I was a goner there once on another post. Nyah! You missed me!
Thump! Another one bites the dust. Crazy Betty my age was only eating peaches yet choked to death.
Thump! Another one bites the dirt. Heart attack.
Well, Mashburn was a--no, no don't speak ill of the dead.
And that ain't all of them.
Zing! X 7 times when I could have been dead. Nyah! Nyah! You missed me!

Yes, it was. I never really went to work because I loved what I did so much.
What that school is like today, I'm not sure. I have heard that it has fallen prey somewhat to Snowflake Liberal thinking...too bad.

    70?
A mere lad. Well, a full-grown lad with experience. Tick tick indeed, but you realize, we start dying the moment we're born. The problem with life is that there are few instructions for the young, and as an adult you've usually screwed up so badly that it takes years to get straight.

No, my entire time in the classroom was spent in the public schools. However, the school where I taught was run like a private school. The kids actually learned something.

Yes, I've seen that one, too. There is no way that this teacher would have a job. She would be escorted out of the building. Oops, wait a minute, my bad. This is probably a public school classroom where anything goes.

Yep, blush, blush. Thought I had the correct spelling down.
It's been at least a couple of years since I looked up photographic memory.
Endemic being an actual word does not trigger the spell checker.
It does not like the name, Babette, though..

If Yellowhammer is a bird, what is a Krauthammer?
    (Sorry, I can't help it, it's a compulsion.)

Lately I've been seeing this commercial of TV. Can't remember the product.
I believe it is a second grade teacher who wearily stands with her students running amuck all around her and talks about how important her vacations are.

Great! I love violence with lots of bodies piling up in the books that I read. I think that it comes from being a first and second grade teacher. But I don't want Babette to die. Perhaps you could have her retire to The Gulch.

It's at times bawdy and very violent.
Babette is on top of one of those cliffs you can see overlooking Dinant when the massacre occurs.
She's using field glasses she conned from a boche biker while claiming to be the daughter of a German ambassador previously caught behind the lines.
Her photographic memory has a knack for picking up foreign languages. Should I ever make it to sequels she's going to be a spy at least for a while.
Later she may come to America as a bootlegger.
I even have her heroic death in Nazi Germany worked out.
Perchance all this the stuff dreams are made of.
