Cisgender just means the opposite of transgender in the same way that heterosexual means the opposite of homosexual. Basically, the word cisgender just refers to anyone who isn't a transsexual.

Please note that it is a completely separate concept from homosexuality, as gay men and lesbian women are still considered to be cisgender, since they don't get sex changes.

I forget what the PC term "Cisgender" means? Does that mean she has a single, non-elective sex, or does it mean she's actually a practicing heterosexual?
