Some years ago, I was watching C-SPAN and Sen. Grassley was having a "town hall" meeting. He seems to be a very likable person, which maybe most politicians seem to be.
But he did something I have admired and for which I have liked him ever since: He stood there listening to people -- and even took notes on a lined yellow legal pad!
He does not seem to be the screeching Republican partisan, nor the standard Republican wimp, quick to "compromise," meaning to sell out.
Perhaps if the Wicked Witch of the East ever IS convicted of something, it will be by his efforts.

Haven't seen the Netflix version, but the original British show is incredibly funny from start to finish.

After a while it is like drinking bad water. You either throw up or get sick. Or both.

Lots of that last one. Vince Foster and Seth Rich are only two in a long list...

Let's hope that Grassley lives to complete the investigation. All Clinton Investigations seem to just peter out and go away. Or, someone dies suddenly.

She's already survived investigation after investigation. The only thing that is going to touch her is the cold reality of conviction and an orange jumpsuit.

I quit watching it after the first episode. It was TOO real and disgusting.

I hope Trump starts up the investigation of clinton, just to ruin her forever. She is a vicious and manipulative pig to be sure.

You are correct in that it is more of a rhetorical/satirical statement than one of actual disbelief. The Clintons have literally been getting away with murder for years - political threats are old hat as well.

I agree, blarman. They will have to act fast to freeze the funds, revoke passports, and shuffle O and the C's off to Gitmo for interrogation as domestic terrorists. Maybe they will uncover the dirt on the Bush's and the Hydra will lose more heads.
