Reformatting a previous post: Pastured eggs "may" contain salmonella, although the only documented cases of salmonella are in confined flocks....

    Costa Rican turtles. *sigh*. Everyone had one when I was little. Miss the little fellows.
    I think science aside, the government is being bullied by more conventional businesses’ lobbying groups because pasterized eggs have become a fast growing business.

    Doesn't surprise me one bit. The government is very good at tossing science out the window if it can be done to help special interests, or to just mash producers under the thumb.
