I have been billed $35 for an ounce of hydrogen peroxide by a hospital for an elective surgery I underwent years ago! They didn't even use any during the procedure. My doctor said it was standard procedure because they can get away with it because of third party payment. The hospital made more than the doctor. They charged me over $600 dollars for a bed for 20 minutes.
