Repeal every word of Obozo-care. Anyone over 50 who has been paying into Medicare should be the last people on it. If you're under 50 you get a refund of what you have put in so far. After that, you are on your own to save for retirement medical care. If you don't save it is up to your family, friends and community. If you put it to people like that they will all make sure their family members learn how to save. The Fed needs to stop printing useless money and raise interest rates so savers can see the fruits of their frugalness pay off without having to risk money in the stock market. Sure interest rates will go up on mortgages. People have to learn to live within their means and do a lot of DIY. People also need to learn to stop expecting instant results in life. This is not a video game you are living in. Grow up. Maybe start requiring military service and provide enough of a benefit afterward to pay for tech school training if you don't stay in long enough to get it in the service. If you want to go to college you are on your own and work your way through. If you want prices to come down on medical insurance you need tort reform. Something like loser pays everybody's lawyers. Don't let these ambulance chasers work on contingency. By doing that they will always seek these huge pain and suffering bullshit awards. Use technology to prevent unnecessary ambulance and doctor visits. There is a device out now on Amazon for $99 that will do an actual ECG using your fingertips. It's called the Kardia. It can tell people if they need an ambulance or a doctor visit or only an Adavan. The money saved on false alarms and ambulance call outs would make it worthwhile for insurance companies to give the things away to high-risk patients. Call your Senators and demand a repeal or they will be primaried. I don't care how good they seem. They're almost all swamp creatures if they have been in DC for more than 10 yrs.

Hear! Hear! Term2 lets repeal Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the Federal Reserve, Income Tax, Direct election of Senators, EPA, Dept. of Education, and throw off all other government millstones about our necks. We may yet save America as the only bastion of Individual Rights left on earth..

They need 51 votes to repeal Obamacare through Reconciliation, just as the Democrats did to pass it in the first place with ZERO Republican votes. This can be done in consideration of a Budget bill (You do remember when Congress used to pass budgets?)
The whole 60 vote thing is a smoke screen to CYA Republicans. Not buying it. It's just another excuse from a Party that ignores what the voters want and what they, the Party, ran on.

RE: actual costs don't seem to be hard to find, just ask. My wife has a hiatal hernia. I called the surgeon, $1800 for the surgery. I called the hospital, $10-20,000, "depending."

Congress doesn't want to change health care. Plain and simple. It's not the President who is holding things up. It is Congress. Where have you been?

Congress can't hold a President to anything. Congress has to act. A President can not pass a law that Congress has not sent to his desk. Thus it is us, We the People, that must hold our Congressmen, House and Senate, to our will.

They need 60 senate votes to REPEAL and they dont have that. Obama was smart to ram through Obamacare as he did. Once in, its hard to get rid of it.

Medicaid is a disaster. Its free medical care for whoever qualifies. I know a former university professor currently out of work who gets totally free medical care, while I have to pay for mine. He was making over $100k a year, which is far above what I make. The democrats just want medicaid for everyone, with only the "rich" paying for it all.

Congress should hold themselves accountable for all the times the Leadership said they would repeal Obamacare. They passed as many as 15 repeal bills while Obama was President, fully knowing that Obama would veto all of them. Nice CYA eyewash. Now the Republicans have the House, Senate, and the White House and can't get a bill together that they can pass??!! Give me a break. Again, it's not Trump that needs to be held accountable, it's the Republican Party and the Republican Congress.

Congress can't hold Trump accountable for anything. What they can do is get off of their corrupt assed and repeal it. So simple.

Wow! A politician held to his/her campaign promises? That would be a new one! Almost laughable! D/R/L or whatever letter comes after their respective name, not one of them has EVER been accountable for their actions...and don't give me the "accountable at the ballot box" argument. Something has to change...and soon, or we're all cooked. I love the USA, and cannot imagine this pot not boiling over in the very near future...unless something changes.

Agreed, Any federal control over healthcare OR the economy should be nullified and forever forbidden by law. Apparently the jackals believe their view of the Constitution is the only one that matters, they are wrong.

Me dino would have altered that title to "Professional Politician Chicken RINOs Should Support Trump's Health Care Campaign Promises."
Maybe I'd add a subtitle: "Your Constituents May See Through Your Deceit Should They Grow Brains. Hi, Paul Ryan."
Or perhaps I'd otherwise rather subtitle write: "I Dream Of Term Limits."

"Require price transparency from all healthcare providers, especially doctors and healthcare organizations like clinics and hospitals."
This alone would be huge, and it would not require a new regulation. It would just be a rule saying contracts that are open-ended with no price estimate or pre-agreed price per service or price per unit time are not enforceable.

It wouldn't be requiring them to do anything. It just means they would lose in court if they sent a bill that was not in some fashion agreed to beforehand. The agreement could be by time or by procedure or fixed bid-- anything. But if it just says any and all charges, they would not be able to win a judgement in court.

I believe Congress sent 6 bills to repeal Obamacare all of which president Obama vetoed. They haven't sent one since Trump took over the office. Washington DC is corrupt to its core and needs to be altered or abolished.

    "Millions will die."
They didn't die any more frequently before Obamacare, and the cost of insurance was 60% lower than under Obamacare.
Only one that should die is Obama and he isn't subject to Obamacare. Execute the looting traitor.
