Apparently being a faithful Christian on here gets some people to downvote everything you say...

I find it rather comical, on a board dedicated to the free sharing of ideas, that those who hold true to the Christian faith will frequently have people go through posts and downvote every single one of their posts, regardless of whether or not it says anything they disagree with.

Case in point, Hiraghm's posts on one thread recently (there have been other people, including me, and many other threads). Someone went through that thread and downvoted every single one of his posts, even his one-line "haha" type posts.

I'm not surprised, but really people... it's kinda sad.

    I went back and re-reviewed the thread I had in mind. It's actually gotten back up to mostly neutral thanks to the aforementioned Hiraghm's upvotes. Though the first post that started it all (and I suppose the only one that most folks read) is still negative. Regardless, overall the thread is better than I thought it was now.

    I seldom down vote and if I do, I tell you. On a current post of mine you have lost points. Not because you are a Christian, but I suspect it is because you are emotional in your statements and reason is abandoned

    Hiraghm is in the penalty box and as such his comments start out at zero and are hidden. If this is happening to your comments, it should be reported to the administrators and they may restore your points. Blanket down-voting is discouraged, but occasionally some newbies do not know and other part timers sometimes... Well... please do not let it color your perspective of most of us.

    I'm not saying everyone does it, but I do believe it's fairly apparent that it's happening. I mean, I've had whole threads where we were debating, and I literally drew out the entire position throughout the posts and my "debate opponent(s)" had nothing left to stand on and had to admit i was correct. THAT post had a ton of downvotes... it's just dumb

    Blanket down voting is frowned upon and sometimes results in the admin restoring points.
    Also, there was a weird zero points thing going on the other day that has since been corrected.
    I don't know which comments/posts you're referring to, but it's NOT common practice for christians to be down voted for "everything they say."
