Texas Nuke Plant Stays Online Amid Harvey. Give Credit To Resilient Operators, Robust Design And A Plan
While it seems a bit on the heavy side of praise, the fact someone actually planned and executed and didn't screw up, seems a good thing here...amid all the tales of plants blowing up, and flooding everywhere.

- 2Posted by $ nickursis 7 years, 7 months ago in reply to this comment.Indeed, at some point someone needs to survey businesses and take stock, and show those that did well vs those that did not and show what the good ones did so maybe the genius's that inhabit the suit world will wake up to how much you can save by spending a little. Too often costs are the reason, but I bet that chemical plant in Crosby wishes they had mounted their generators up high, so they still had a plant, and not a ruin. Same for Fukushima, putting your emergency generators in the basement ws just not a good idea...Permalink|
