Furloughed Workers Call on Congress to 'Get Their Act Together' - Yahoo
So, Congress previously authorized "retroactive pay" for all the laid off workers in the past. Did they pay all the others who it trickles down on? No. Those whose companies laid them off because they could not work while shut down (maybe numbering in the millions) get stuck, but the goobers look good because they "made it up" to the ones directly effected. Nice Job moochers!

If these are the 'non-essential' workers, maybe that should tell them something. But they would rather ride the government gravy train than go into the real world and compete.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 1Posted by $ nickursis 11 years, 6 months agoThat is realy reflective of the "trickle down" theory. It happens in DC, every State Capital, every county, every city. I would bet 20% of those employed are paid for by the other 80%, or worse. This is why theyhave to keep coming up with new and inventive ways to rip us off, in Oregon, they are having a special session to see if they can raise tobacco taxes 10 cents a pack to pay for education. Now what the #@%! does that have to do with education? Other than the kids that smoke and they are not subsidizing them....yet...Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|
