As if.... but I like that it's being pointed out that a Brit is attacking our right to bear arms and maybe it's just time for him to go home.

I think people wouldn't be so hyped up about Morgan if they felt the safety of the US Constitution. That document and the Bill of Rights have been slowly eroded or ignored by those in legislative and judicial power who are strongly influenced by talking heads. Is there any particular knowledge/understanding you see as a big P.Morgan "ah-ha!" here?

    Hello jmlesniewski,
Yes. The problem seems to be who decides and what is determined as the good. Many wish to throw out the baby with the bathwater. I tire of tyranny of a vocal minority… not that tyranny of a majority is any more palatable.

The issue is that there's a delicate balance between not changing what is already known as true/good and being open to new knowledge/understanding.

One of this nation’s greatest threats is that of immigrants that think this is such a great nation that they want to immigrate here then change it. We are being assimilated! This is much like our POTUS who said “This was the moment – this was the time – when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals. Thank you, God Bless you, and may God Bless the United States of America.” Obama, June 3
What exactly did he mean? What needed re-making?
It is my opinion that we should look to the past to see what it was that made us the envy of the world and return to those fundamentals. This is not re-making our nation so much as it is respecting and returning to what made our nation great.
    When in Rome!
If you don’t like the freedoms here you are free to go!
