Emory University Hospital in Atlanta is set to receive a patient infected with the deadly Ebola disease currently sweeping through swaths of west Africa.

The patient is expected to arrive “within the next several days”, the university said in a statement. The exact date of arrival is not yet known. The university did not give the patient’s name.

Ebola in your backyard is the unintended consequence of Samaritan's Purse's altruistic folly.

Yeah, crazy. She would be among the few who'll survive ~ unless the self-proclaimed "elite" have their way.

Yes... but still... keep that shit contained. Why risk exposing more countries? As I understand it, we've never had a case here....why invite one...or two, as the case may be.
This situation is actually similar to the new series on TNT Last Ship. Sorta.

OK, first of all I want to say-this person must be on the mend or The virus, once tested positively, has an incubation period of up to 21 days. They may be in that period. no one can contract it during that period. You must pass bodily fluids. The earlier the treatment, the better. CDC is located in Atlanta, there may be some purpose we aren't aware of. I don't know. or-it could all be false and will be brought back up later to quarantine whole swathes of people. anything is possible. The problem as I see it, they have not locked down incubation periods. They say anywhere between 2-21 days. wtf?

They CHOSE to go on foreign soil... this isn't a wounded soldier situation either. This is a highly contagious, next to non treatable and should be contained where it was found. It's too risky to go moving it around to another continent.

Yep and it's a perfect cover for a false flag event to corral (your choice, are you a sheep or cattle?) the 'commoners' into the all-mighty gov't's bidding ~ want to remain "free", ok then, you'll take the "inoculation", otherwise, we'll identify you as a 'threat' to the general population, and thus, take you into custody and put you into one of our wonderful internment camps and strip you of your US Constitutional rights ~ you will be a "non-citizen".

All this without firing a single shot: so much for the "lock & load" mentality. Your property, your rights, your life ~ gone in one single swipe.

I'm thinking that such an event would coincide with a economic collapse, thus inducing "bank holidays" and no one will be able to get their debt dollars out. Couple that with EO 11051 going into effect, the DOT-commandeered U.S. Highways "checkpoints" with DHS backing preventing most personal travelers from getting on the road: now what?

The SOB's (self-proclaimed elite) hold all the cards and the 'game' is stacked in their favor. All we can do is hope (pray, if you're a believer) that you can somehow avoid any calamity as best as possible and move to the best part (if you can call it that) of what's become the toilet bowl of America.

Well, they are American citizens. Should we refuse them entry, guaranteeing they die on foreign soil?

Glad I am not consulting at Emory any longer.
I hope my friends there can take extended leave immediately.
Excessive hubris appears to be another communicable disease.

If anybody think this is for the benefit of the patient I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.

I cannot believe we are bringing this to our shores on purpose. It's amazing to me.

They don’t know the name of the patient. It will be one of two American health workers. They can only transport one at a time.
This virus kills 3/4 of those who contract the virus. It would be nice to know of the 1/4 that survive how many make a complete full recovery and how many suffer permanent damage.
