Unfortunately, I will be needing to "shrug" this forum. I have asked too many questions without satisfactory answers from those who are Objectivists, or at least those who adhere to Ms. Rand's teachings/philosophy.

I won't list those questions which I do not believe have been answered because I won't be here anyways, so why waste the 0's and 1's.

I have enjoyed the banter and hope that those who have not seen the light which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord, will do so before God calls you away from this earth.

    This "pounding on a lectern" phrase is catchy. Like talking in code, "hey, I've got 10 minutes...howz about we go pound a lectern?"

    I was laughing my butt off.... I was also laughing about the "Crap, I;m on the wrong post....Damn, wish I could get into the car and drive 1 day and 5 hours to uh, "pound on lecturn," maybe go to an auction to buy one..LOL !!

    seriously, flanap's farewell tour should be treated with reverence. I appreciate his admission of shrugging. also, I enjoyed his love of word play. I did not care for the way he ignored answers when he asked questions. that was just rude

    A lectern is way to big to ship and I don't engage in personal pick ups. (And what are the big fat words on it?)

    I actually had a lectern. got it thrifting and gifted it to my father in law who parked a big fat tome of some big fat words on it. he's dead now, it will have to be disposed of-letsshrug will handle our auction-she will be in nirvana
