The white peoples habit of shopping at the farmers market creates gentrification.
Apparently when a good or service improves an area. White people will move to the area improve their property and price the non white out of the neighborhood. With that premise Home Depot is like the klan.
F....ing idiots.

As soon as you describe yourself as xxxx-American, you blew your chance to assimilate into the American Ideal. BTW how many self-described African-Americans were born in any country on the African continent? Heck how many self-described AAs have ever set foot on the African continent? I am 1st generation American, I could refer to myself as xxx-American or yyy-American, but I don't - I am American.

The one in my town is just stupid. Where else can you spend 2-3 times the normal price of produce? I grab unique things there periodically, but for staples, our farmer's markets are idiotic. Maybe other places there are ones that aren't outrageous, and do serve the farmers and patrons better.

    P.S. Thought you'd be interested.
Yesterday on Fly on the Wall, Suspicious Observers, a scientific paper was being discussed that suggested that [pre conscious-my addition] man had the same abilities as other mammals to share information, innovations in their evolution, unconsciously of course, and change their behaviors across the planet.

This is the "interconnectedness" many speak of, especially on the left, the greenies and environ[mental]ist. This got me to thinking, isn't it curious, that the "Left" all over the world, seem to have the same "Brain" sets. Might this be a proof of their Non-Consciousness?
We can't blame it all upon the internet...a good portion of the worlds population still doesn't have it, but they still think that way. We don't necessarily find that on the right. The only music we all march to is Liberty but are diverse on all other subject matters.

Further in their conversation among specialist in their fields, say it's no different than quantum entanglements in the ether.

Little by little, I am finding that I am not "Crazy" after all...laughing.

Turns out to be a much colder December than usual since the early 50's on the shore line in Ct.
Night before last it was 3.1 degrees at 12AM, wind chills are in the 10/11degrees below 0...needless to say, the dogs did their business Really Quick!

I grew up inland, high upon a hill, the second tallest in Ct and we never, to my memory, had temps even close to 0 in Dec.
I have burned a cord of wood already to save on oil...$'s of which has gone Up!

The only saving grace is the snow storms have only dropped 2" of very dry snow at a time on the shore. I just broomed the driveway. Probably 1' to 2' in the north western regions.

I was curious about your snow levels because almost everywhere east of the Great Lakes, along that latitude, has gotten 5' already.

Yesterday, on Mt Washington, New Hampshire, it was a -87 degrees below 0!!!

Only about 3 inches of snow but it is -9 with a -25 wind chill below zero for the last week except Thursday it was a balmy 9 .
The wife opened the window by the sink in the kitchen for about 10 mins the wash cloth was frozen.
This cold It is not out of The ordinary vs my expirience over sixty years but last year and this year are the coldest start to winter in twenty five years. In the seventies I remember several New Years Eve's -15 or so.

    How about you ?

I guess it's "to White" to become part of the middle class of creators and producers. They had the chance to assimilate into the American Ideal and blew it!

This is not a new tactic . Trader Joes dropped out of a new store development because they were going to be extorted for gentrification. 2014
the Portland Development Commission's deal to bring Trader Joe's to a vacant lot in Northeast Portland brought unprecedented attention to an African-American group with little name recognition.

The first that many people had heard of the Portland African American Leadership Forum was its scathing letter to the media and PDC in December, accusing the urban renewal agency of perpetuating gentrification in what used to be majority black neighborhoods. The group demanded the $8 million Trader Joe's project be halted or reconstituted with the addition of affordable housing.

But when Trader Joe's announced Monday it was pulling out due to "negative reactions from the community," PAALF was as surprised as anyone. News broke hours before leaders were set to hold a news conference on other issues. They largely avoided questions from reporters about Trader Joe's.

    Laughing at your response.
How about we say:...price the dependent, those kept, those unproductive out of the neighborhood.
Isn't that what life's about? Being productive, making a mark, leaving this world better than when you found it?

Gentrification...the process of renovating and improving a house or district so that it conforms to middle-class taste:

Now That is bad also...I think we just topped: Bizarro's world.

I saw that as well. Apparently if you advance the idea that white colonialist actions such as shopping for food destroy equality your an expert no matter what your background. See Al Sharpton
a purveyor of white powder to The underprivileged to head race baiter.
