It's about to get cold in the U.S and Global warming is blamed.

The scientist claims 300 years of data on the jet stream . I find that hard to believe.
The shift in the Jet stream is likely do to atmospheric compression as a result of a weakened Magnetisphere.

Even cold anomalies such as icicles in Houston, Tx. And snow blanketing the Sahara desert.
These are " useful" in frightening people about global warming. So today the new narrative is if the weather is hot global warming if the weather is cold ......bingo global warming.

After a two-month summer drought, combined with very high temperatures, several small fires started in the pine forests of Pine County, Minnesota. The fires' spread apparently was due to the then-common method of lumber harvesting, wherein trees were stripped of their branches in place; these branches littered the ground with flammable debris. Also contributing was a temperature inversion that trapped the gases from the fires. The scattered blazes united into a firestorm.[3] The temperature rose to at least 2,000 °F (1,100 °C). Barrels of nails melted into one mass, and in the yards of the Eastern Minnesota Railroad, the wheels of the cars fused with the rails.[4] Some residents escaped by climbing into wells, ponds, or the Grindstone River. Others clambered aboard two crowded trains that pulled out of the threatened town minutes ahead of the fire. September 1 , 1891.
The world's first purpose built gas station was constructed in St. Louis, Missouri in 1905 at 420 S. Theresa Avenue. The second gas station was constructed in 1907 by Standard Oil of California (now Chevron) in Seattle, Washington at what is now Pier 32.

I didn't know about Casey's stroke. I certainly hope he makes a good recovery. The video was interesting, although I've been familiar with the broad outlines for some time. I certainly wish I had sufficient land (without all the rocks in the soil) to build an underground greenhouse!

I was also trying to find a new one that I saw recently that also correlated the moon's movement in the mix as well . But the link was no longer working. If I find it I will pass it on.

Thanks old wise one for the tip. The historical evidence of a much cooler clime during Grand Solar Minimums is overwhelming.

Robert W. Felix author of "Not by Fire But By Ice" has stated on number of radio interviews that the Earth has been warming since the last Ice Age. That man has nothing to do with this so called global warming and that the tipping point has been reach for start of a new Ice Age. Even though he is just a lay person, I believe there is truth in his writings. It's unfortunate that these climate scientists and others are so mired in the swamp of global warming they can't accept any thing else.

So, you are still worried about CO2, while the UN stated it no longer crs if global warming is true, as long as people believe it is, and they can control them. I the condition you suggest is accurate, why are scientists in Calif. shooting water and crushed clay into the ionosphere, to block sun Rays, and create cooling, according to them. Climate has always "changed", and some of the extremes have been pre-industrialization. Why was it so necessary for the data to sell warming to the public, that scientist planted heat tracking monitors where they knew the reading would be scewed - like in enclosed courtyards surrounded by brick and pavement, where jet engines threw air on them on runways? How does Gore's swapping "carbon credits" help anyone, if the weather is international, and still affection the atmosphere?

Global Warming is REAL. The Glaciars are melting AND dissapearing. Viedma Glaciar AND Perito Moreno are about to suspend their ice trekking tours because of this. In Chaltén last winter there was hardly any snow, being it normal to have over three feet of snow during three consecutive months. Science Is accurate, scientists don't "make things UP".

Low temperatures are the following step un this cycle, since the Glaciars liquidification generates a change in ocean currents AND sea level rises. Deny this all you like, but Carbon Dioxide AND Monoxide have densed the ozone producing a more severe Greenhouse Effect. Thus, the geothermal balance is shifted AND the biosphere, altered.

Zonal flow is a meteorological term regarding atmospheric circulation following a general flow pattern along latitudinal lines, as opposed to meridional flow along longitudinal lines. Zonal, in the context of physics, connotes a tendency of flux to conform to a pattern parallel to the equator of a sphere.
The recent deep freeze many days below zero starting just before Xmas the wind came straight down from Canada into Minnesota Brrrrr
Then the warm wind comes from the south both Meridional patterns.

    Holy Toledo,
For the first time in quite a while since mid December no zigzagging back and forth high altitude jets leaving trails on our clear days. See my recent post on new Geoengineering plans.

The pole shift will not cause a shift or tilt of the continent The biggest concern is as the poles reverse the Magnetisphere weakens as it is doing now that is our shield from solar and cosmic debris. Cosmic rays help form clouds this shades the planet and does not allow as much of the radiance to warm thins up.

Our technology definitely would be in danger, however. Even now, solar storms can damage satellites, cause power outages and interrupt radio communications. These kinds of negative influences clearly will increase if the magnetic field and thus its shielding function became significantly weaker, e.g. during a reversal, and it will be important to find mitigation strategies,

One additional worry is that a weakening and eventual reversal in the field would disorient all those species that rely on geomagnetism for navigation, including bees, salmon, turtles, whales, bacteria and pigeons. There is no scientific consensus on how those creatures would cope.

    Continental shifts?

Many of the disaster scenarios associated with geomagnetic pole reversals in popular imagination are pure fantasy, the scientists said. There definitely won't be any break-up or shift of the continents.

We just can't expect every government from the US to Britain, to Russia, and more to tamper with the weather and expect it to be all good, esp. when they are not even sure of the outcomes.
The most frightening thing I have seen in the Midwest was a sky full of HAARP clouds. Row after row of perfectly spaced and sized clouds, like cylinders, row after row, filling the sky above WalMart. That afternoon we had a terrible storm that took down many mature trees,

The task is hugely full of uncertainty. And when the lead researcher cores a tree that has one side that has obviously been shaded by another adjacent tree, as seen in the press release photo, that introduces a bias that has absolute nothing to do with the jet-stream, temperature, and precipitation. Or for that matter, how could anyone disentangle all the elements (temperature, precipitation, solar, shade, nutrients, etc.) and tell us it’s a proxy for the jet-stream position? The answer is: they can’t.
If Truett pre-selected trees that looked like, which she seems to be doing in the photo, she’s no better than the flawed science of the Yamal fiasco where a single tree biased the entire temperature record.

Further, it seems she didn’t pay attention to recent literature, such as Briffa and Melvin, 2011 and Brienen et al., 2012a,b

Basically, older trees grow slower, and that mimics the temperature signal paleo researchers like Mann look for. Unless you correct for this issue, you end up with a false temperature signal, like a hockey stick in modern times. Separating a valid temperature signal from the natural growth pattern of the tree becomes a larger challenge with this correction.…

Dendrochronologists observed that the older a tree was, the slower it tended to grow, even after controlling for age- and time-driven effects. The result is an artificial downward signal in the regional curve (as the older ages are only represented by the slower growing trees) and a similar artificial positive signal in the final chronology (as earlier years are only represented by the slow growing trees), an effect termed modern sample bias. When this biased chronology is used in climate reconstruction it then implies a relatively unsuitable historic climate. Obviously, the detection of long term 15 trends in tree growth, as might be caused by a changing climate or carbon fertilization, is also seriously compromised (Brienen et al., 2012b). More generally, modern sample bias can be viewed as a form of “differing-contemporaneous-growth-rate bias”, where changes in the magnitude of growth of the tree ring series included in the chronology over time (or age, in the case of the regional curve) skew the final curve, especially 20 near the ends of the chronology where series are rapidly added and removed (Briffa and Melvin, 2011).

    Hi Stormi ,
It has taken years but the cat is now out of the bag on the Chemtrails. Most folks don't know or notice the checkerboard to milky haze of Chemtrails that remain long after the jet is gone.
I notice them in car commercials tv shows that are shot out side. These people should be executed.

The bigger culprit I believe is the weakened Magnetisphere this allows the atmosphere to be compressed at the poles and the intertropical convergence zone by the solar wind that hits it at about 900 kilometers a second when coronal dark holes face the Earth .it takes about 36 hrs or so to arrive. The low pressure convergences can create a virtual River in the sky as we have seen many many examples of in the last year. One is expected mid week in New Zealand see this

I am curious as to why their models did not predict this jet stream behavior? I find it hard to believe them given their constant back peddling.

Yes, I know that the poles are shifting, I think to the northeast. It seems to me that that would cause a tilt in that direction for our portion of the northern hemisphere. BTW, I thought this was going on quite a few years ago, before I became involved with blogs such as this. Please educate me about tree rings and jet stream patterns, although it would seem to me that meridional patterns would cause shifting areas of warmth/dry and colder/wet. I have no scientific background, but am fascinated with the climate issue. As a result, I've learned a fair amount, but am always open to new information.
