The Challenge of Dating in DC for Trump supporters

"Faced with open antagonism, Trump’s millennials over the past year and a half have quietly settled on the margins: a stretch of Washington that spans from the Wharf—a shiny new development three blocks south of the National Mall—southeast along the Waterfront and into Navy Yard, on the banks of the Anacostia River. It’s a string of neighborhoods that peer out over the water, separated from most of the city by an interstate, and facing away from official Washington. It’s a bubble within the Washington bubble: Here, young Trump staffers mix largely with each other and enjoy the view from their rooftop pools, where they can feel far away from the District’s locals and the rest of its political class.

It’s not all a tale of discomfort. Many shrug off the drawbacks by pointing out that at least they’re not in New York or back on their college campuses, where their politics were even less welcome. And they’re learning one lesson that every new wave of operators learns: In Washington—even in Trump’s Washington—as long as you have power, you can manage to feel popular somewhere."

I can't tell you what my reaction might (probably) be if I ever met Maxine. I would be arrested for making threats against a democrat if I told you. However, if I made the same threat against the president it would probably be okay. Is this the type of country we want to live in, where we might have to choose where to eat by our political party affiliation? Perhaps restaurants could just designate a "D" or an "R" at the entrance. Doesn't anyone remember how hard it was to get the "No Blacks" signs down? Hopefully all the Maxineation of this country will soon turn on them. Its actually unfortunate that more republicans don't retaliate. Apparently gays and other "classes" of people in this country have more rights than republicans. I find our representatives extremely disgusting, but realize it's the people they represent that actually elect and re elect them. Nothing short of a recall for some them would be acceptable and perhaps set an example. With the doubling down on the "D" side I can every day more imagine it could actually come to civil war, they just can't get their way.

I think store owners should advertise their hatred for trump and put out signs indicating that so we won’t waste time going there. Time for an organization of truly tolerant peope. I would patronize those businessed

I don't think that the hatred of a political figure has ever been as extreme as those hating Trump. Daily offenses against people personally have been reported with Maxine Waters stirring things up like the immoral fool she is. Those protesting Trump are the same idiots who crucified Jesus, (if he existed at all). They believe in a cause, but not one out of a hundred could tell you why.

Given that, Santa Fe is a nice place to visit unless your philosophy precludes doing business with those who wish to enslave you.

How does the recent supreme court decision affect restaurants serving those with different political philosophies? I think it was too narrow a decision to apply, so I think they must serve Trump supporters regardless of their political bias.
However, Maxine would starve if she waited for me to make her dinner.

Well, to drag out a very old joke and give it some relevance to the current situation:

I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and we Trump supporters regularly have our meetings in a phone booth. :-)

Problem is, there are no phone booths nor Trump supporters here, except me, who shall remain nameless.

Yes, and according to what is going on against Trumpsters these past couple of days, they will need their own restaurants. Maxine Waters wants them harassed wherever they go.

Trumpsters in DC should form a Trumpster Dating network/club/service of some kind.
Then there's the cities on the Left Coast, the northeast and lib-infiltrated Florida.
Oops, me dino overlooks the blue splotch called Birmingham in my red state Alabama.

We are in an "Uncivili War".
Just read how vile , vicious and dehumanizing the resistance is.

The Swamp has always done so, and corrupted many. I call it fraternizing with the enemy which is not far from "giving aid and comfort to the enemy". The sooner Trump supporters realize that this is a war the better chance they have of winning. Naturally this article is from a statist source hoping to convert the newcomers to treason.

Were the Trump government types expecting a welcome mat to be thrown out to them by The Swamp creatures?!
