You may not be much for slogans, but many people are. Perhaps most people.
Especially if they have a relevant theme to them such as a portion of "of the people, by the people and for the people".
It is a simplistic statement and probably shouldn't be rightly uttered by the Democrats (nor Republicans).
However, my point is that it is a powerful slogan, and will serve well the interests of anyone using it.

Weber was mentioned in my post as having used the same slogan in a Sci Fi series. Freedom, obviously has an interest in it. Sometimes posts will take their own road of free discussion, so this is the result. However, the I would not throw out the space alien theory too early at this point, they do have a declared pedeophile running in one state...

Politics was a wise choice as while this article does have it''s humorous points it's really a tragedy which is not the least humerous. Culture would also be an injustice as the article would more properly be deemed anti-culture.

When me dino read that the initial message, "Better Deal," was openly mocked by some Jackass Party lawmakers, boy, did I enjoy one good long belly laugh.
So the campaign slogan is "For The People," eh? How about "Power To The People" accompanied by a Commie-looking fist salute like I saw during the later 60s?

Well, yes, although Travis has progressed a little bit in his OCD, and you are correct on the use of females as "the real support". Although I have always liked his writing, and his battles are good. The Troy Rising series (all 3 books) are pretty good by John Ringo and are along the same type of writing, but much stronger males characters, I wish he would have continued it, but seems to have stalled.

Weber's main male character in the recent series is a weak one who is continually overshadowed by the stronger, more admirable women characters. Its no accident that the 2 male characters are flawed and the women characters are oh so perfect. But he is damn good at writing battle scenes with inventive surprises.

Well, that is a good version of the "new" slogan. DW books are good fun reads very detaied, many plots and sub plots and he is clearly enamored with women as a main character, he does have a new Manticore series with a male main character, so maybe he has heard the same complaint...

As for Weber, he is the most unabashed biased multiculturist feminist in sci-fi. Virtually all his heroes are female or black or other non-white or a combination thereof. Virtually all his villains are white males. His love affair with monarchy is irrational rubbish, too.
He does write very good space battles if you can manage to get through the hundreds of pages of molasses slow political intrigue and biased propaganda.
