I agree 100% with your statements… I taught my daughters the values I uphold but, in the end, my oldest has decided to go down the path of the social justice warrior while disowning the family. This is a problem that was generations in the making which will take generation to unwind or a great catastrophe. The school system allows groups to come onto the campus to push these off-center views and policies, when a parent ask that the children not attend these clubs, the school states it’s their first amendment right to be on campus. The government has co-opted the constitution to use it to remove your rights and to parent your children the way they see fit. This organization told my daughter that she need to protest and fight anyone that disagrees with their views (assumptions here but I’ve heard the same from this group before). My daughter was vulnerable at the time and they took advantage of the situation.

This drone mindset has been taught to children by leftist teachers throughout their years of schooling. They are no longer required to think, simply regurgitate to pass tests. Civics in schools has been gone for my lifetime which eliminates young minds understanding not on the Constitution and its guarantees, but the promise it provides to every American. Displaced by individual and independent thought, the teachers have repeatedly and incrementally fed them with multiculturalism, moral ambiguity and a degree of self loathing and America loathing that can only come from having no clue where you fit in society, let alone the USA. The end result, crafted and edited soundbites dispatch marching orders that few, if any question; and some get violent.

To fix, teach kids to think for themselves. It's a very hard task, which I've somewhat failed despite trying, considering every level of school is pitching the BS as well as movies, music and any degree of media. Even so, we must try.

I am thankful that I'm on the down side of the slope because I can only feel nauseous watching as this country degrades and my children, to a lesser extent, help to facilitate it.

Ask what they think socialism is, then ask reasonable questions based on their answer. If they get all angry and emotional, personally attacking you for having a different opinion, then using their mind to reason isn’t what they have been taught. Better to move on to someone who you can have a rational argument with.

The “them” is the, “bourgeois.” Although with the de-evolution of this post modern cultural marxism, it is the groups they label as, “oppressers.”
