In the comments section of the linked article, me dino read that Marx bought guns for a revolution that never happened instead of food and medicine for a sick child who later died, that "the guy was absolute scum" and that so may who look up to his oh so famous butt know so very little about him.
After reading that, me dino looked up Karl Marx elsewhere and noted that only three of his seven offspring survived their childhood to reach adulthood.
Me dino knows the mortality rate for kids was higher back then but I do believe four out of seven kids taking a dirt nap is pushing it a bit much.
