I don't like Donald Trump

It's true...I've never really like Donald Trump, because he is a bully and I had a lot of trouble with bullies, growing up.

On the other hand, people like me went out of our way to befriend the biggest bully, so that the others would just leave us alone.

That's why I stick with Donald Trump...nobody wants to mess with the big dog!

I give him actually more credit than you do. He is immersed in a swamp of vicious and evil people, basically. He is trying to do what he can to fight them off, while having to make a certain number of deals due to their power over our country.

I think he tweets to piss off the liberals and keep them using up their energy attacking him. I think he enjoys pissing them off, if the truth be told.

There is no one else I can think of who just takes a licking and keeps on ticking- over and over again.

You dont like his authoritarian tendencies, but when up against the true EVIL in washington DC, I am not so sure I object to him being a bully.

    Exactly.

I still have a Trump poster proudly displayed at my business. I am as entitled to like Trump as they are entitled to hate him.

Actually I think I would like him. He has guts and takes no crap. Sometimes when presented with a difficult decision, I ask myself "what would Trump do". Usually the answer I get back is what he would do, and its right.

I would love to meet him someday. Probably as you say, it will never happen.

I like that Trump just tells it like it is. I feel less constrained by political correctness now thanks to him.

She was inherently EVIL. Interesting that I formed that visceral opinion of her years and years ago, and I hoped that in the quiet of the voting booth, people would just "not like her" somehow and push the right lever to elect the opposition.

I think that happeed when she ran in 2008. Out of the BLUE came an unknown Obama who blew her out of the water at the last minute. In 2012 she knew better than to lose a second time. Then in 2016 she was convinced she would win, and lo and behold a total unknown Trump appears and blows her out of the water again Maybe NOW she realizes that people just dont like her and will never vote her in.

Paul Ryan IS the establishment, and he got tired of fighting Trump, IMHO. He is not a friend of mine or Trump's

If the dems think that the approval of Trump is affected by their constant barrage of obstructionism, they are RIGHT. I am MORE committed to supporting Trump than ever.

If I were to meet him, I would just tell him that I appreciate what he is doing, and to not let the bastards get him down. He is the first president that ever sent ME periodic requests for what I think he should be concentrating on. Surely, Obama never did that at all. He didnt care.

I voted for Trump because I really believe he already made his money, is getting up there in years, already has a great family, and at this point when he says he wants to try to preserve our way of life- I believe him.

As to what he can actually accomplish:
    1) He could reduce ridiculous regulations
    2) He could slow down somewhat the rapid spread of socialist policies
    3) He could do some things to keep the swamp from getting deeper and wider
    4) He could stand in the way of further gun control
    5) He could get foreign countries to respect us more than they have.
    6) Be tougher on illegal immigrants and hopefully make them afraid to some here.

What I dont think he could do:
    1) Do much to rescind welfare benefits that have already been granted
    2) STOP illegal immigration by building a wall.
    3) Stop Inflation and deficit spending
    4) Actually repeal Obamacare without replacing it with another boondoggle government program.

I give him another two years of being pounded on by the establishment, and then he will be defeated finally by a true socialist like Bernie Sanders, or equivalent. Clinton is dead in the water, fortunately.

I am happy that Trump is actually doing what he said he would, even though the liberals are trying EVERYTHING to stop him.

Hold on, CG, and let's think about this for a minute. "statist authoritarian tendencies"? Really? IMHO, a statist authoritarian would be demanding more from the people in the form of taxes and other acts of fealty, not easing up on it. A statist authoritarian would not be deregulating left and right and giving more freedom back to the people from the government. A statist authoritarian would be very busy consolidating such powers to himself and his/her regime ala Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Obama, or the Evil Hag.

Experience? Exactly what experience do you prefer? A career politician that has made a living being suckled by government? How about a person whose PEAK experience was a "community organizer" in a local metro area (not even at the State level - oh wait, maybe being elected as a senator that didn't really do anything). OR would you prefer nearly self-made billionaire with a lifetime of building a multi-national company that had to deal with all the crap government at all levels, unions, and the mafia had to dish out?

Do you prefer the experience of a man who virtually apologizes for being American and wimps out when it's time to be strong or a woman that doesn't even give a damn about America's national sovereignty? Or a man who says let's make America great again and takes steps to stop America from being invaded and screwed by the rest of the world?

I say it's alarming how close such a person as the Evil Hag got to being POTUS!

I am truly amazed by this man. He just never stops. I certainly do not agree with everything he is doing, such as the wall and the trade deals, but I sure do respect the man. He has had everything thrown at him and he keeps on going.

I will venture a guess that not one of us here even know Donald Trump. I don't think I would like him much on a personal level myself. With that said, I fully supported him during the campaign and voted for him and to this very day I am proud to say I still support him and know I made the right decision. There is no need to like someone as long as you are confident that someone is the right someone for the job. The more the MSM and liberals hates him the more I love his policies and tactics.

Everything about what's happening in politics today is unprecedented as far the intensity. President Trump is the only one I can think of that could bring this out in those that we have allowed to control us, and make them continue to behave in such a manner. I would think by now that some State might try to recall their "democratic" Senator(s) and get someone to replace them that will do actually do their job and get on with the business of governing. Hopefully Trump's reelection will turn this disgraceful and so obvious tide the democrats are creating.

I have not liked any President in my adult life and only voted for one of them many years ago. One day the States will come around to my point of view and elect a President who actually is for a far smaller Federal government and a much weaker Executive.

I don't have to like the man personally to applaud his efforts. I love the fact that he has the cajones to call the media out as liars - something that has been needed for decades. I have a love+hate relationship with his tweeting, his brashness, and his egomania. But as long as he is nominating people like Gorsuch and Kavenaugh and dismantling the regulatory state and lowering taxes, I'll cheer him on all day long.

"We are a savage species," <---this is absolutley true, but people just do not like to admit it.

And sometimes those who decry the savagery the most...are themselves the most savage, and will resort to the most savage means to get their way. I think Ayn Rand demonstrated that beautifullly in AS.

The Bully act is just that; a ruse to keep the corrupt, the stupid, the post modernist from realizing their days are up. It will be way too late when we come to take them away...ha ha.

They unknowingly have drawn the dreaded card of the monopoly of life:
Do NOT Pass GO!...Go Straight to Gitmo.

The treatment of Kavanaugh and his family,m and the Dumbocrap childish riot, all show just how bad they are, and how low they will stoop to get their way. It is a fight between those who would control and those who would support our freedom. Trump is just the tool that works best for the moment.

Exactly. Take what you can get, the rest of the Republicrat field were all good Party members, who would bow to the corrupt elements in the party. There is a reason Paul Ryan is not seeking another term....

That is all true, and just shows the vagaries of the human being. It does not take away from their later achievements. No where has the Liberal elite ever found the disgraceful U.S. efforts in the Philippine Insurrection, where US Army and Marines hunted Philippine "rebels", massacred entire villages and one Marine colonel sent home a lamp shade made of human skin. We are a savage species, the current Liberal insanity is just a twist on that same evil aggression and need to control and dominate.

I think his statist authoritarian tendencies are tempered by his need for attention and his inexperience. It's alarming that such a person could end up POTUS. It's not hard to envision a more effective version of him. As long as we don't have the limited-gov't philosophy of the Constitution, we are not safe. It's alarming to think we're protected from people wanting the gov't to solve their problems only by our leaders' incompetence.

I agree. But I don't HAVE to like anyone. But I do reserve the right to find what they offer useful to me.

President Trump has been the best president in my life hands down. He is not a bully. He is tough as nails against the shrouded in fog RINO's .He fights back and that does not make him a bully. He and his family have been under constant attacks with lies smears and relentless false claims as well as fending off a coup de tete. His list of accomplishments in less than two years is remarkable. All I have ever seen with my lying eyes is compassion and generousity.
The best proof of his swamp draining is the scum frogs croaking in unison on The MSM.
