Balanced Budget Bill introduced in Senate
No big surprise that Mike Lee was a primary sponsor. I won't be too surprised to see it pass in the Senate and never get brought up for a vote in the House, however. I would also point out that the title implies that the bill proposes a Constitutional Amendment, but this is not true. It just sets vote thresholds for spending and tax increases to 2/3 like that of an Amendment.
As long as the unconstitutional 16th amendment stands, the feds will use the stolen loot to oppress everyone not in their circle of hell.
This is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic and making no attempt to fix the fatal design faults.
