“The act of purposely referring to someone with their pretransition pronouns is known as misgendering and can be considered a form of hate crime.”

The so-called right to not be offended strikes again!

So, not going along with a seriously confused person's delusions can now get you fired. The inmates are in full control of the asylum.

I am an individualist. I don't like the increasing use of "they" in the singular. (Reminds me of the society in "Anthem".) I also don't care for the invention of the other kinds of gender pronouns, as if there were more than 2 sexes. This comes from an attempt to deny reality. There may be legitimate reasons why children are discontented with their gender (though that may come from an understandable rebellion against unnatural, artificial customs imposed on people, such as the notion that women should walk on a line and twitch their butts back and forth, etc.)
However, in the human race, there are only two sexes :male and female (There are also some hermaphrodites, but that is an abnormality). And school officials, in public schools (which are an arm of the state) have no right to try to impose on employees a demand that they should deny reality to make other people feel better.

What do you mean, 15 years later? 2018 was 15 years later than 2003. Now it's 2021. Or did I click on an old item on the computer?

Just to be safe, I like to toss out all kinds of "zhees" and "zorts" around the office. Most people don't get it. I'm safe until they do...

When me dino was a corrections officer working at an all male state prison for 21 years, I refused to call
prostitutes, who did such things as pluck their eyebrows, a "she" like other officers did.
The sissies were being mocked, of course.
But maybe it's a good thing I retired in 2003 and could get away from there with a full pension.
It's 15 years later and Alabama is not all that far from Virginia.

What would happen if we started laughing when we made the mistake? I am at odds as to how to handle this situation. I'm too old for this kind of crap! What's the big idea with these people anyway? I don't care what they call themselves. I shall call them what I see, I guess?

Remember, these are the same kind of people that insist that anyone saying all lives matter, is a racist.

What ever happened to: Hay You!.???
    ...or...
One could just say: This person or the person in the 2nd row with the pink P. hat, by the door please answer the question...it would still make one gag to refer to them as a person but it would get the job done.

Virginia! A State which elected McAuliffe governor. What else do you expect?

The whole country is governed by rules of a mental asylum. It is a hateful state with no end in sight.

The deconstructionists are also hard at work at Berkeley California,

“The resolution before the Berkeley student government was a statement of opposition to these proposed changes, intended to display solidarity with members of the LGBT community, specifically "transgender, intersex, nonbinary and gender nonconforming students,” as reported by the independent student newspaper the Daily Californian.

Chow, who says she "campaigned very clearly as the candidate who would represent the Christian community” chose not to vote for the bill, stating that she could not do so "without compromising [her] values and [her] responsibility to the community that elected [her] to represent them.

During an interview with Campus Reform, Chow said that she was “unprepared” for the reaction that she received after being disavowed by her own party.”
